Research Personnel. 5.1 The Institutions shall ensure that the Research Personnel conduct the Research with due care, diligence and skill and comply with this Contract.
5.2 The Host Institution shall ensure that each Institution and Investigator submit the Acceptance Form together with all other required documents to Grantor (either electronically or in hardcopy) within the time stipulated.
5.3 If any Investigator is unable to continue the Research, the Institution engaging such Investigator shall, subject to the written approval of Grantor, appoint a successor within a reasonable time. In seeking approval, the Institution must satisfy Grantor that the proposed successor has the requisite qualifications and skills to continue the Research. In the event that the Institution is unable to appoint a successor acceptable to Grantor within a reasonable time or where the nature of the appointment of the Investigator in the particular Letter of Award is non-transferable, Grantor shall have the right to terminate the Funding and/or this Contract.

5.2. The Host Institution shall ensure each Institution and Investigator submit the Acceptance Form together with all other required documents to AI Singapore (either electronically or in hardcopy) within the time stipulated.

Research Personnel. 6.1 The Institutions shall ensure that the Research Personnel will conduct the Research in a diligent and competent manner and will comply with this Contract. The Research Personnel shall be employed or otherwise engaged by the respective Institution, which shall be responsible for all human resource management issues.
6.2 The Host Institution shall ensure each Partner Institution, the Principal Investigator and each Co-Investigator submit the Acceptance Form together with all other required documents to A*STAR (either electronically or in hardcopy) within the time stipulated.
6.3 If the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators are at any time during the Term no longer able to continue the Research, the Research may be continued under another Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator provided that the Host Institution or Partner Institution, as the case may be, is able to satisfy A*STAR that the replacements have the necessary qualifications and ability to take over and discharge this responsibility. All such changes must be expressly approved in writing by A*STAR. Failure to fulfil this requirement could result in immediate termination of the Funding and this Contract.
6.4 In order to ensure that Research supported by the Funding is, as far as possible, used to provide higher levels of research training and continuing development for researchers which may subsequently be pursued in academia, industry, commerce or the wider public sector, the Institutions shall ensure that research supervisors, and mentors provide effective research environments for the training and development of researchers. In addition, the Institutions shall put in place systems of: -
(a) supervision, in order that researchers and trainees employed through the use of the Funding gain the maximum benefit from the training and development opportunities provided in the research environment in which they work;
(b) regular review, enabling the researcher and his/her supervisor – and ultimately the Institutions, as the employer, to form the best possible assessment of and feedback on, the individual’s potential, whether for a research career in academia, industry, commerce, the wider public sector or in some other direction.
6.5 The Institutions agree to employ or otherwise engage Research Assistants who are Singapore citizens and/or Singapore Permanent Residents to be deployed in the work under the Research. For Research Fellows, the Institutions agree to use reasonable efforts to employ...
Research Personnel. The Administering Institution must:
(a) use all reasonable efforts to ensure that any Research Personnel involved in the Project are available to conduct the Project during the Term; and
(b) promptly notify the Funders if any Research Personnel involved in the Project becomes unavailable to conduct the Project during the Term and must use all reasonable efforts to replace that person with a suitable candidate with the expertise required to undertake tasks and complete the Project approved in writing by the Funders within 20 Business Days of such notification.

6.4. If the Principal Investigator leaves the Host Institution and AI Singapore’s approval is not given for arrangements for the continuation of the Research and the continued administration of the Funding, AI Singapore shall have the right to terminate the Funding and/or Agreement.
Research Personnel. The Research Services will be performed by Lipocure and its qualified personnel, employees and subcontractors and service providers (collectively, the “Researchers”); provided, that Lipocure will not use any competitors of Company in performing the Research Services.
