Reserve Sick Leave a) As of the date of signing of the contract in 2016, all employees shall have any sick leave accumulated in excess of three (300) hours swept into a ‘reserve sick leave’ (RSL) account. All hours in this account shall be maintained in the employee’s name and accounted for financially based on the effective rate of pay at the time of the creation of ‘reserve sick leave’ account. The City will provide an employee and/or the union an employee’s RSL balance upon request.

Reserve Sick Leave. A. Reserve sick leave is the total number of unused sick leave days above a teacher's 90 accumulated days, and the total number of unused personal leave days above a teacher's 3 accumulated personal leave days.
Reserve Sick Leave. An employee will be paid Sick Leave from his Reserve Sick Leave Account, if available, to satisfy waiting periods for STD and LTD. Reserve Sick Leave. All full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall receive, in addition to current sick leave, five (5) reserve sick leave days for each full fiscal year of service, the fiscal year being July 1 through June 30. Reserve sick leave earned after July 1, 1971 may accumulate without limitation.

  • Family Sick Leave An employee may use Family Sick Leave for the illness of a member of the employee's immediate family who requires the care and assistance of the employee. Up to eighty (80) hours per calendar year of the employee’s accumulated unused sick leave may be used for this purpose.

  • Sick Leave and Personal Leave The Administrator shall be granted paid sick leave, as defined in Section 24-6 of The School Code, of twelve (12) workdays per contract year accumulative to three hundred forty (340) days. The Administrator shall be granted three (3) paid personal leave days per contract year for personal business. Unused personal leave days shall be credited towards the Administrator’s accumulated sick leave.

  • Cumulative Sick Leave 16.1 Employees covered by this collective agreement will carry forward their accumulated sick leave days from the predecessor school boards to a maximum of 280 days. Effective September 1, 1999 employees (other than temporary employees) shall be credited with two (2) days of sick leave for each month of active full time service to a yearly maximum of 20 days for ten month employees. Effective September 1, 2003 100% of the unused days each year are accumulated, to a possible sick leave total of three hundred (300) days. Sick leave days will be pro-rated for part-time employment.

  • Paid Sick Leave Employees shall earn and be granted paid sick leave according to the following provisions:

  • Accumulated Sick Leave ‌ The Employer shall inform all employees at least once each year of the number of sick days accumulated and shall make the information available to an employee on request.

  • Accrued 100% sick leave The use of sick leave under this subsection is at the employee's discretion.

  • Cumulative Sick Leave Plan Each employee shall accumulate sick leave with pay entitlement at the rate of one-half work day for each full bi-weekly pay period on paid status up to a maximum accumulation of 155 days of unused sick leave with pay entitlement.
