Illness during. Where an employee is sick or injured on a rostered day or shift off the employee shall not be entitled to sick pay for such day and nor shall the employee's sick pay entitlement be reduced as a result of the employee's sickness or injury on that day.
Illness during. Where an employee qualifies for sick leave, with pay, during his period of vacation, there shall be no deduction from vacation credits for such absence. The period of vacation so displaced shall either be added to the vacation period or reinstated for use at a later date, by mutual agreement. Employees will be expected to provide proof of illness during vacations by way of a letter from a doctor.

Illness during annual leave when the illness exceeds one week, and is covered by a medical certificate will be regarded as sick leave and an equivalent number of days are to be added to the annual leave.
Illness during. Vacation time lost due to illness or injury may be charged to sick leave subject to the rules governing sick leave.
