Resident Educator Mentor. A Mentor is a unit member who has been trained through the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Resident Educator Mentoring Program to provide professional support to a Resident Educator.
Resident Educator Mentor. A Resident Educator Xxxxxx is a teacher employed by the district under a resident educator license.
1. Other than a notation to the effect that a teacher served as a Resident Educator Mentor, the teacher’s activities as the Resident Educator Mentor shall not be part of that staff member’s evaluation.
2. Resident Educator Mentors shall not participate in the evaluation of any Resident Educator.
3. Resident Educator Mentors shall not be requested or directed to make any recommendation regarding the continued employment of the teacher.
Resident Educator Mentor. A teacher who has received the proper training and is certified by the State of Ohio Department of Education or some other agency licensed or authorized to award such certification to be licensed/certified Resident Educator Mentor, with certification on file with Board’s Treasurer.
Resident Educator Mentor. This Article will be maintained during the term of this contract unless legislation changes this Article.
38.01 The purpose of the Resident Educator/Mentoring Program is to provide a program of positive formal support including mentoring to xxxxxx professional growth of the individual as per the requirements set forth by ODE and the Administrative Code for teacher licensure. The Resident Educator Program examination does not replace the employment evaluation.
Resident Educator Mentor. A resident educator mentor is a teacher trained and assigned to provide professional support to a resident educator following the guidelines and protocols of the Resident Educator Program.
Resident Educator Mentor. 1. The Resident Educator Mentor shall carry out the Resident Educator Program in conjunction with the Resident Educator as developed by the Ohio Department of Education.
2. The Resident Educator Mentor does not have a formal evaluative role. The mentor’s role is to support the growth of the Resident Educator as an instructional mentor through formative assessment tools.
3. The Resident Educator Mentor and Resident Educator’s professional relationship shall be regarded as highly confidential. No Mentor Teacher shall be requested or directed to divulge information from the written documentation, or confidential Mentor/Resident Educator discussions nor be involved in the writing of an action plan if there are performance deficiencies.
4. Each Resident Educator shall be granted release time for direct mentoring activities and shall be coordinated by the Building Principal.
Resident Educator Mentor. A resident Educator Mentor is a teacher trained and assigned to provide professional support to a Resident Educator following the guidelines and protocols of the Resident Educator Program.
a. In addition to the mutually agreed upon released time, each Resident Educator Mentor shall receive a supplemental contract and receive a stipend of five hundred dollars ($500.00) to a Resident Educator. In addition, the Board will pay all training fees required for Resident Educator Mentors to receive the mandatory ODE Mentor Training.
b. Resident Educator Mentors may be assigned one (1) or more Resident Educator as determined by the needs of the Program. A stipend of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) will be given for each additional Resident Educator assigned to a Resident Educator Mentor.
Resident Educator Mentor. A. Rationale The Resident Educator Program for beginning teachers will provide Ohio’s newest educators with coaching, mentoring and guidance that are critical to improving their skills and knowledge and student achievement. The Resident Educator License will be issued beginning in 2011. The Resident Educator Program will be a Program administered and funded by the Southern Local School District.
Resident Educator Mentor. Facilitator
