Road Calls. In the event of a vehicle failure while in service, CONTRACTOR shall deploy a vehicle immediately upon notification to replace the failed vehicle to ensure continuity of service.
Road Calls. All work performed employees on road calls, namely; when an employee is called out when off duty, shall be paid at time and one half 1/21 with a four (4) hour minimum. The Company shall have the right to utilize the services of such employees at other work during the four hour period. In the event of a road failure involving equip- ment of the Company, the work shall be per- formed by a mechanic if available and quali- fied. If two employees are used, at least one of them shall be a mechanic if avail- able and qualified and reasonable expenses will be paid. Reports concerning the cause of the failure, repairs etc. will submitted as requested by the Company; however, no alle- gations will be made, in such reports, against another employee unless supported by facts. When the tow bar is used in emergency serv- ice, the work will be performed by two employees. A call board will be established for the pur- pose of receiving road calls and each employee shall take turn on such work on a in and first-out basis.
Road Calls. 24.10.1 CMTA measures Miles Between Road Calls (MBRC) primarily to characterize the customer experience when reporting to the Board of Directors. However, CMTA also considers MBRC to gauge the maintenance shop’s impact on our customers through the MBRC metric. The primary metric only considers mechanical failures. Mechanical failures are the basis of reporting and the calculation of incentives and disincentives. However, all other road calls are tracked to identify trends which indicate failures that can be prevented.
24.10.2 CMTA’s definition of a “road call” is any failure of any component or system on a vehicle causes the vehicle to be unable to complete its scheduled service without repair.
24.10.3 A road call exists whether the vehicle is returned to the shop for repair, a Mechanic is sent to the vehicle for repair, or the vehicle is towed back to the shop for repair. Two key items must be in place for an incident to be classified as a road call:
3.15.4.3. 1 Inability for the vehicle to complete its scheduled service This means the vehicle must have left the yard. Failures on the yard are not road calls. Deadhead is scheduled service. It does not matter if the vehicle was in revenue service or deadheading. It does not matter whether revenue time was lost or service was delayed.

In the event of a vehicle failure while in service, CONTRACTOR shall immediately contact ATN’s dispatcher on duty to make arrangements to replace the failed vehicle to ensure the continuation of service. CONTRACTOR shall develop a plan that results in minimal service disruption to ensure service and on-time performance. The failed vehicle will be removed from the breakdown area by ATN. The Road Call Report or similar document shall be used and recorded in ATN TransTrack database.
Road Calls. In the event of a vehicle failure while in service, scheduled passengers of failed vehicle must be transported as expeditiously as possible. Time is of the essence; Contractor shall develop a plan that results in minimal service disruption to ensure on-time performance. The failed vehicle must be removed from the street within two hours of the request for the road call. Road calls are to be documented in Dispatch and Operations Log including lost service; City personnel are to be notified within ten (10) minutes of each occurrence. Contractor’s maintenance support vehicle(s) shall be equipped with push bars to expedite removal from roadway when necessary. Contractor is responsible and required to dispatch a competent mechanic to the location of vehicle failure as to determine if the vehicle can be safely driven from the location of vehicle failure, or to make a determination if the vehicle’s failure requires for the vehicle to be towed. Competent Contractor’s maintenance personnel shall be on duty and ready to respond during all hours of transit operations, to include roll-out support.
Road Calls. Road calls will be distributed among mechanics, as determined by the Facilities and Fleet Manager,Assistant Facilities and Fleet Manager, or Shop Supervisor.
Road Calls. SECTION 1. A list of employees capable of taking care of road calls will be posted in each shop. Road call work will be given to those qualified employees, if available, who have made application for overtime work as provided in Article X, Section 4, and road call and shop overtime will be consolidated in computing overtime record.
SECTION 2. - When an employee is sent out on a road call, he shall be paid at overtime rates for time necessarily spent outside of the hours comprising his regular assignment in making preparation for the work to be done on such call. He shall be paid at his regular straight time rate of pay for time necessarily spent in traveling from his home shop to and from the place of work for all hours comprising his regular assignment, in any case, and for all time so spent on calls over 100 road miles from his home shop whether
Road Calls. The County’s authorized Flat Tire Service Agent will pick up replacement tires, from the nearest tire facility, and return damaged tires to the same facility as replacement. The awarded Bidder will provide documentation to the authorized Flat Tire Agent and the County of all replacement tires provided to the Flat Tire Agent and damaged tires received. The awarded Bidder will monitor inventory and the location of all leased tires. The County or the County’s authorized Flat Tire Service Agent will provide documentation containing road call information (for example: vehicle number, wheel position, brand numbers, etc.)
