Salaries/Compensation. 6 A. Annual employees will be paid in accordance with their placement on the salary 8 remaining incremental movement available will be granted one (1) increment each year 9 of this Agreement as authorized by Section 11.1.D below. Should the state authorize 10 and fund an amount for classified salaries higher than the amounts shown on Appendix
11 A, the College will improve the salary schedule to cause the total salary increase 12 increments plus percentage allocated to schedule improvement) to reach the 13 percentage allocated in the State Appropriations Act. Salaries listed are based upon a 14 260-day, 8-hours-per-day work year.
16 B. Less than full-time employees will be paid a pro-rated share based on the number of 17 days and/or hours worked and in accordance with their placement on the salary 18 schedule, Appendix A.
Salaries/Compensation. There will be no general salary increase for the two-year term of this MOU.
Salaries/Compensation. The base annual wages for employees covered by this Agreement shall be set as established in the Salary Guide attached and made part of this Agreement in Exhibit A. Employees in guide will be moved to the closest step on the new guide without loss of compensation. The salary schedules shall be modified at each step and rank by the following percentages on each effective date, and retroactive to each effective date as applicable.
a. Effective and retroactive to January 1, 2015, employees will not move on the Salary Guide and will not receive a cost of living adjustment in his/her salaries.
b. Effective January 1, 2016, employees will move one (1) step on the Salary Guide, and all those employees at maximum will receive a one percent (1%) cost of living adjustment.
c. Effective January 1, 2017, employees will move one (1) step on the Salary Guide, and all those employees at maximum will receive a one percent (1%) cost of living adjustment.
d. Effective January 1, 2018, employees will move one (1) step on the Salary Guide, and all those employees at maximum will receive a one percent (1%) cost of living adjustment.
e. All emergency medical technicians (hereafter “EMT”) will be paid an additional one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per year incorporated in his/her base salary. This additional one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) will cease immediately if the employee fails recertification. No new EMTs shall be added after January 1, 2004. In addition, EMT compensation shall permanently cease for any employee hired before January 1, 2004 that fails recertification at any time, regardless of whether such employee later becomes recertified.
f. The annual Detective allowance shall be paid as follows:
i. Commander $3,000.00
ii. Detective, 3rd Grade/Specialist, Corrections $1,500.00 iii. Detective, 2nd Grade $2,500.00 iv. Detective, 1st Grade $5,500.00 For any employee that is assigned to Detective for less than the full calendar year, the Detective differential shall be prorated with the employee receiving one twelfth (1/12) of the application Detective differential for each month or portion thereof during which the employee is assigned as a Detective.

Salaries/Compensation. Effective July 1, 2008, provision of a 3.0% base salary increase for all classifications in the unit. Effective September 1, 2008, provision of an additional 2.0% base salary increase for all classification in the unit.

Salaries/Compensation. A. For Fiscal Years 2017 and 2018, consistent with San Diego Charter section 70.2, no base compensation, defined as base salary or wages paid on a regular biweekly basis for services performed, for any classification will be increased to an amount higher than the base compensation for that classification set forth in the 2011 Fiscal Year Salary Ordinance (San Diego Ordinance No. O-19952, adopted on May 4, 2010). Exhibits A and B to the 2011 Fiscal Year Salary Ordinance, which are both related to the base salaries for the Classified Service, are attached to this MOU and incorporated into this MOU. Exhibit A sets forth the base salaries for the Classified Service. Exhibit B sets forth the Classified Service Classes and Standard Rates. The parties agree that there will be no increases to the base salaries for the classifications set forth in Exhibit A and B during the term of this MOU. The parties further agree that the creation of any new classifications during the term of this MOU must be consistent with San Diego Charter section 70.2(c). For reference, Exhibit C to the 2011 Fiscal Year Salary Ordinance, related to Classifications and Standard Salary Rates for the Unclassified Service, is also attached to this MOU.
B. The parties further agree that, consistent with San Diego Charter sections 70.1 and 70.2(b), during Fiscal Years 2017 and 2018 no new compensation will be added to the 2011 Fiscal Year Earnings Code Document, Exhibit A, which sets forth Wage Types Included in the Pensionable Wage Base.
C. Notwithstanding these agreements, the parties acknowledge that individual employees may receive promotions during the term of this MOU under the authority of San Diego Charter section 124 and all applicable Civil Service Rules, Personnel Regulations, and other provisions. Further, the parties acknowledge that individual employees may receive an increase in pensionable compensation, within the limits set forth in Exhibit A or Exhibit C to the Fiscal Year 2011 Salary Ordinance, under the authority of San Diego Charter sections 130 and all applicable Civil Service Rules, Personnel Regulations, and other applicable provisions.
