New Faculty Salaries. Salaries for newly-hired full-time faculty will be determined by adding $275 for each year of full-time teaching and related occupational experience up to a maximum of ten years to the minimum salary for the appropriate level. Part-time teaching experience will be recognized on a pro-rata basis. For example, a faculty member who teaches half-time for ten years will be credited with five years of full-time teaching experience. Continuing employees are not eligible for an additional $275 for any years of service beyond those recognized at the time of hire. Salary Minimums. Effective August 16, 2018, the minimum non-tenure system salary for full-time non- tenure system bargaining unit members with the rank of Instructor, Lecturer, Clinical Assistant Professor, or Research Assistant Professor in no event will be lower than $50,000; the minimum non-tenure system salary for full-time non-tenure system bargaining unit members with the rank of Senior Instructor, Senior Lecturer, Clinical Associate Professor, or Research Associate Professor in no event will be lower than $55,000; the minimum non-tenure system salary for full-time non-tenure system bargaining unit members with the rank of Clinical Professor or Research Professor in no event will be lower than $60,500.
Salary Minimums. The minimum salary paid for a Full-Time Bargaining Unit Faculty Member rank covered by this Agreement is set forth in Appendix A. The pay rates set forth in Appendix A are minimums and do not preclude the University from compensating Full-Time Bargaining Unit Faculty Members at a higher pay rate.

Effective January 1, 2018, the minimum salary to be paid an NTT faculty member for work other than professional experience supervision (this shall normally refer to student teaching or an equivalent professional experience activity) is $4,000 per month. For an NTT faculty member with a terminal degree the minimum salary is $4,350 per month. Supervision minimum salaries have been increased proportionately using the same methodology, except the starting point was the current minimum salary paid for student supervision. Salary minimums for the 2018-19 academic year will be adjusted by the FY 2019 publicly announced increase for University employees. Salary minimums for the 2019-20 academic year will be adjusted by the FY 2020 publicly announced increase for University employees.

As of July 1, 2020, the minimum salary to be paid a full-time NTT faculty member for work other than professional experience supervision (this shall normally refer to student teaching or an equivalent professional experience activity) is $4,162 per month. For a full-time NTT faculty member with a terminal degree the minimum salary is $4,526 per month. Supervision minimum salaries vary by department. For FY2021, salary minimums for full-time NTT positions will be adjusted by the same percentage and terms (including but not limited to effective date and retroactivity) as the publicly announced campus wage program/merit increase, if any, for non-negotiated University employees in FY2021.
