Section 13.4.1. 29 The employee with the earliest hire date shall have preferential seniority rights regarding shift 30 selection, vacation periods, special services (including overtime), promotions, assignment to new 31 and open positions, layoff and recall.

Section 13.4.1. 41 Implemented 2005-06 and continues through the duration of contract with the primary index 42 increased as the annual state teacher salary schedule is updated. The primary index is set as the 43 current salary rate in the WA state teacher schedule for a teacher with 16 years experience in 44 the MA + 90 education column for a 180 day work year.
Section 13.4.1. 46 The District agrees to accept dues authorizations via paper forms, voice authorization or by X- 00 signature in accordance with “E-Sign. PSE will provide a list of those members who have 48 agreed to union membership directly with the Association via any of the above methods. In 1 addition, upon request, access will be given to the District to the .wav files associated with the 2 voice authorization. PSE shall be the custodian of the records related to dues authorizations 3 and agree that, as the custodian of the records, it has the responsibility to ensure the accuracy 4 and safe-keeping of those records.
