Section 13.4.1. Section 13.4.1shall be deleted in its entirety be replaced as follows:
Section 13.4.1. 25 Upon successful completion of apprenticeship training, education credits, recognition standards, and 26 recognition by WPSCEJATC of journey status, the journey level employee shall receive an additional 27 increase added to their individual salary, as reflected on Schedule A. 29 Employees who successfully complete the Paraeducator I program through WPSCEJATC, by obtaining 30 forty two (42) college credits of Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI) coupled with On Job Training 31 (OJT), shall receive an additional fifty cents ($0.50) per hour above their regular rate. 33 Employees who successfully complete the Paraeducator II program through WPSCEJATC, and receive 34 an AA degree, shall receive an additional fifty cents ($0.50) per hour above their regular rate. 36 Employees who successfully complete the Paraeducator III program through WPSCEJATC, and receive 37 a four (4) year college degree, shall receive an additional one dollar ($1.00) per hour above their regular 38 rate. 39 40 Section 13.5. 41 Employees shall be responsible for tuition costs associated with college credits and for required books 42 and materials.
Section 13.4.1. 27 1. In the event of a layoff, reduction in force, or cut in hours, the Association President shall 28 be notified as soon as possible. 30 2. The employees subject to this agreement and in the classifications of Secretary and Library 31 Secretary shall be combined on one list, in seniority order. 33 3. Layoff/Reduction shall be done according to seniority of all employees subject to this 34 agreement. In the case of a cut in hours, seniority will be followed when minimum 35 qualifications for the job are met. 37 4. Employees in lay-off or reduced hours status shall have priority in filling new or open 38 positions or filling in (subbing) for absent unit employees at the Step I rate shown on 39 schedule A, over junior employees and outside candidates. 41 5. Employees must contact the Human Resources office in writing each sixty (60) days after 42 the date of layoff regarding their intent to remain active for reemployment. Names shall 43 remain on the seniority list for two (2) years provided the employee actively applies for 44 open positions during that time period.

Section 13.4.1. 46 The District agrees to accept dues authorizations via paper forms, voice authorization or by X- 00 signature in accordance with “E-Sign. PSE will provide a list of those members who have 48 agreed to union membership directly with the Association via any of the above methods. In 1 addition, upon request, access will be given to the District to the .wav files associated with the 2 voice authorization. PSE shall be the custodian of the records related to dues authorizations 3 and agree that, as the custodian of the records, it has the responsibility to ensure the accuracy 4 and safe-keeping of those records.
