Section 7.6. Overtime. 46 All hours worked in excess of forty (40) per workweek shall be compensated at one and one-half (1½) 47 times the employee's regular hourly rate; provided, however, that overtime must have the prior 48 approval of the District.

Section 7.6. Overtime. 14 Overtime rate is defined as being one and one-half (1½) times the employee's regular hourly rate of 15 pay.

Holidays, vacation and other approved leave hours 38 will be considered hours worked for the purpose of the computation of overtime. Overtime and/or 39 compensatory time must be authorized by the Superintendent or his/her designee except in 40 emergencies. Compensatory time rather than pay may be taken at the option of the employee.

  • Payment of Overtime 5.5.1 Subject to the provisions of this sub-clause, all work performed outside of the ordinary hours of any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, will be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first 2 hours and double time thereafter. Casual Employees will be entitled to the appropriate all- purpose penalty rates and their 25% casual loading as identified in clause 2.1.2.

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Allocation of Overtime Subject to operational requirements, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort:

  • No Layoff to Compensate for Overtime Employees shall not be required to layoff during regular hours to equalize any overtime worked.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.
