Section 9.1.1.2. 7 At the time of separation from school district employment due to retirement or death, an 8 eligible employee or the employee's estate shall receive remuneration at a rate equal to 9 one (1) day's current monetary compensation for each four (4) full days accrued leave for 10 illness or injury.

Section 9.1.1.2. For the period from September 1 through February 28, any employee who is not absent 15 from work for any time for sick leave, and/or leave without pay, or discretionary leave, except for a 16 worker’s compensation claim, discretionary leave or FMLA leave, shall receive an award in accordance 17 with the table in Section 9.11.5 below. Payment shall be made on the March pay warrant.

Section 9.1.1.2. 16 Two Hundred and Sixty (260) day employees who receive vacation days may donate their 17 unused vacation days to specific individuals using the following criteria:
19 1. The employee’s accrued vacation day balance cannot fall below ten (10) days.
20 2. All donated vacation days must be given voluntarily.

Section 9.1.1.2. 18 The employee who is on leave may return to work, provided a vacancy exists for which the 19 employee is qualified. If an employee rejects an offer by the District for reemployment upon 20 return from leave, said employee shall forfeit seniority and all other accrued benefits; provided 21 that said position is substantially equal to that held by the employee prior to going on leave 22 status. Substantially equal shall be within two (2) hours per day at the same rate, or the same 23 hours within ten percent (10%) of the hourly rate.
