Section 9.1.1.2. 12 At the time of separation from school district employment due to retirement or death, an 13 eligible employee or the employee's estate shall receive remuneration at a rate equal to 14 one (1) day's current monetary compensation for each four (4) full days accrued leave 15 for illness or injury.

Section 9.1.1.2. 5 Two hundred sixty (260) day employees who receive vacation days may donate their unused 6 vacation days to specific individuals needing sick leave by using the following criteria:
8 1. The employee’s accrued vacation day balance cannot fall below ten (10) days.
9 2. All donated vacation days must be given voluntarily and will be used as sick leave by the 10 recipient.
11 3. A “day” is based on eight (8) hours. Section 9.1.1.2. 34 At the time of separation from school district employment pursuant to RCW 35 28A.400.210 and 212, an eligible employee or the employee's estate shall receive 36 remuneration at a rate equal to one (1) day's current monetary compensation for each 37 four (4) full days accrued sick leave.
Section 9.1.1.2. 24 The employee will retain accrued sick leave, vested vacation rights, and seniority rights while 25 on leave of absence. However, vacation credits, sick leave, and seniority shall not accrue while 26 the employee is on leave of absence.
Section 9.1.1.2. 18 The employee who is on leave may return to work, provided a vacancy exists for which the 19 employee is qualified. If an employee rejects an offer by the District for reemployment upon 20 return from leave, said employee shall forfeit seniority and all other accrued benefits; provided 21 that said position is substantially equal to that held by the employee prior to going on leave 22 status. Substantially equal shall be within two (2) hours per day at the same rate, or the same 23 hours within ten percent (10%) of the hourly rate.
Section 9.1.1.2. An employee on layoff status shall file his/her address in writing with the personnel office of the 9 District and shall thereafter promptly advise the District in writing of any change of 10 address.
