Seniority Tiebreaker. When there exists a situation in which percentages are unavailable (excluding Resource nurses), or when percentages are tied, then seniority shall be the determining factor. The junior nurse will be cancelled or assigned standby status prior to the senior nurse.
Seniority Tiebreaker. 1. If total continuing service as a teacher with the District is equal between two or more teachers, then seniority will be determined by total service as a teacher with the District, whether or not continuous. (Such service will be computed as described in paragraph A above.)
2. If total service as a teacher with the District is equal between two or more teachers, then seniority will be determined by educational lane placement on the salary schedule and the teacher with the more advanced lane placement (i.e., furthest horizontal lane advancement) will be considered the most senior.
3. If total service as a teacher with the District and educational lane placement are equal between two or more teachers, then seniority will be determined by total service as a teacher outside of the District.
4. If two or more teachers remain equal in seniority after application of the above-listed factors, the teacher with the greatest seniority will be decided by drawing lots.
Seniority Tiebreaker. For purposes of the order of reassignment, placement on unrequested leave and reinstatement of those administrators with equal years of service, ties shall first be broken by the amount of time actually spent in administrative duties and then by the date of return of initial contracts of employment, if available. If a tie in seniority should remain, then administrator evaluations shall be used along with such other criteria as the parties shall in writing agree to.
Seniority Tiebreaker. In the event District seniority is equal, the following procedures will be utilized:
1. Date of hire;
2. Total number of years of continuous service to the District;
3. The total number of years of service in the District regardless of whether or not the service is continuous; and

1. Date of hire;
2. The Teacher’s approved position on the salary schedule (teacher with greater horizontal position shall have the most District seniority); and

Seniority Tiebreaker. Ties in seniority dates will be broken by the largest sum of the final four digits of each affected employee’s Social Security number. Should a tie still exist, the tie shall be broken by a toss of a coin.
Seniority Tiebreaker. Where two or more employees share the same seniority date, preference shall be given to the employee whose last four digits of their social security number are lowest, in a manner such that an employee whose last four digits are 1234 shall be considered to have more seniority than an employee whose last four digits are 6789.
Seniority Tiebreaker. When employees are deemed to have equivalent seniority in class, the following shall be the method by which ‘‘ties’’ are broken:
(1) The employee with greater ‘‘total service’’ in the Judicial Branch shall be deemed more senior, and if that does not break the tie, then;
(2) The employee with greater total state service, as calculated for longevity purposes, shall be deemed more senior, and if that does not break the tie, then;
(3) The determination shall be resolved by drawing the name(s) of the person(s) to be deemed more senior by xxx.
