SMOKING AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS. 6.15.5.1 All State buildings are smoke free. Smoking will not be permitted in any indoor area. The ban on tobacco products will be observed in all indoor and outdoor areas and parking areas on all State owned and leased property. The DB shall enforce these restrictions on any individual employed by the DB or a Subcontractor.

SMOKING AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS. The ABSS 100% Tobacco-Free Schools Policy prohibits all tobacco use by everyone at all times on all school grounds and at all sporting events. Students, staff, parents, and other visitors may not use any kind of tobacco products, including cigarettes, electronic cigarettes(e-cig), pipes, vaping, cigars, and smokeless tobacco. Tobacco may not be used on any school grounds or at school events, including the car rider line, athletic events, field trips, buses, parking lots and off-campus events. No smoking is allowed by adults in vehicles on campus. This policy was adopted in June 2008 and went into effect on August 1, 2008 to protect the health of all ABSS students and staff, promote positive role models in schools and promote a healthy learning and working environment. The policy was adopted following state legislation mandating tobacco-free policies in all North Carolina public schools. Because of this, we require that all parents follow arrival and dismissal procedures at all times. Parents are not be allowed to walk their child to their classroom in the mornings except during the FIRST WEEK of school. Items that need to be delivered to the teacher or money for the cafeteria should be placed in your child’s folder.

The Union and Employer recognize that individuals have the right to have an environmentally sound work environment, which includes the right to smoke-free conditions. As such, the parties agree that there will be no smoking in SJAFB vehicles, motorized equipment, or buildings. Smoking will be permitted only in designated smoking areas and/or in private vehicles. Section 2. The Union and Employer recognize that individuals have the right to choose to smoke and to use tobacco products. The Employer shall provide sheltered smoking areas. Section 3. The Medical Group Campus is designated as a tobacco-free zone. The Medical Group Campus is defined as the Main Clinic building, the Dental Clinic, the TRICARE building and the Bioenvironmental building and the grounds adjacent to the buildings. A sheltered tobacco-use area is located at the southwest corner of the campus, to the right of the TRICARE building. This shelter is the designated tobacco-use area for all MDG employees and visitors to the MDG campus. Section 4. The Employer will provide smoking cessation classes to those individuals who are interested in such a program. If otherwise in an official duty status, the employee will be allowed one smoking cessation course on official time. Section 5. Smoking will only be allowed in areas away from any flammable or hazardous substances in accordance with DoD fire codes. Section 6. Employees who choose to smoke will not be allowed smoke breaks in addition to their regular 15-minute breaks. If an employee chooses to smoke during a break, he will utilize his 15-minute break to smoke. An employee may coordinate with his supervisor to use his 15- minute break in 5-minute increments each hour, not to exceed six 5-minute breaks in a day. Section 7. Individuals chewing and dipping must do so in a designated smoking area and must dispose of the residue in a sanitary manner. Section 8. Individuals must use E-Cigs and Vaporizers in a designated smoking area and/or in private vehicles.

Contractor personnel are also requested not to utilize adjoining and nearby properties, public or private, for such activities. Contractor agrees that INTEGRIS officials may remove from INTEGRIS property any non-complying Contractor personnel.

SMOKING AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS. (a) Sober Living shall make good faith efforts to prevent second hand smoke from leaving any of its Facilities in a manner that significantly affects occupants of neighboring residents in the use and enjoyment of their properties. These efforts may include, but are not limited to: The designation of a smoking area at each site, with a device to mitigate or disperse secondhand smoke; An active smoking cessation program made available to all clients; Addressing the complaints of directly-adjacent neighbors when secondhand smoke comes from an SLBTS facility. (b) Apply a policy directing clients or residents to avoid littering cigarette butts on the ground, floor, deck, sidewalk, gutter, or street. (c) Apply a policy reminding clients not to use tobacco on beaches, boardwalks, and piers consistent with City prohibitions against smoking in those areas.
SMOKING AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS. The policy of USD 506 is that smoking and the use of tobacco products are prohibited on any district owned or leased building or property and in district vehicles. USD 506 will follow all federal and state laws regarding smoking.

Individuals chewing and dipping must do so in a designated smoking area and must dispose of the residue in a sanitary manner. Section 6. Electronic cigarettes are considered a tobacco for the purposes of this section. The restrictions set forth for smokers include those who smoke and/or use electronic cigarettes.
