Staff Selection. It is the responsibility of the Association to conduct the selection of staff members and alternates to participate on Vacancy Filling Teams. Should the Association fail to secure the minimum number required, such action shall not prohibit the participation of the school site in the Vacancy Filling Process.
Staff Selection. The number of certificated staff required to operate the program shall be selected by the Superintendent in the following manner:
a. The District shall allow all employees whom so choose, upon written application, a leave of absence for the ensuing school year. Any certificated employee taking such leave shall be reemployed at the end of the ensuing school year at the same or comparable position and/or level, and with no loss of rights, benefits or seniority which would normally have accrued to the employee had the employee been employed during the school year. Should revenue not be available to reemploy said individuals the ensuing year and implementation of this policy is again necessary, this staff reduction policy shall be applied to those individuals previously on leave in accordance with its application to all other staff members.
b. Selection of staff to be RIF’d shall be made from those employee(s) with the least seniority (C-1, above) within the ranking order (C-2, above), provided that, in order to qualify for retention, an individual certificated employee must possess such valid Washington State Certificate/Endorsement as may be required by law and/or state regulation for the positions available, and be a member of the bargaining unit. (See WAC 180-82-105).
c. A copy of the proposed list for retention and furlough/layoff shall be delivered to the Association on or before May 15th. On or before the same date, a written statement shall be delivered to each individual on the proposed list of furlough/layoff advising said individual of said fact.
Staff Selection. A. The administrator will have the opportunity to interview and to make a recommendation concerning all personnel, certified or non- certified or non-instructional, that are being considered for assignment to his/her building. If the Administrator is not available to interview and make recommendations concerning the above personnel, the Superintendent of Schools will complete this task in conformance with the hiring policies of the Board.
B. The Administrator will be held responsible for the evaluation of the personnel assigned to his/her building.
Staff Selection. After 11.3.1 through 11.3.3 have been complied with, the certificated staff required to operate the program as defined under 11.2.1 above, shall be selected by the district in the following manner:
Staff Selection. Contractor’s ability to select, hire, train, and manage excellent employees is essential to program success. Contractor shall be responsible to hire and to retain an adequate number of fully qualified and certified staff at all times, and to ensure that the program is never disrupted or compromised due to employees’ absences from work or because of vacant positions. All program staff shall be selected on the basis of meeting or exceeding required education and experience; demonstrated interpersonal skills; strong support for offender treatment and change; and the ability to work in concert with the goals, methods, and requirements of the approved treatment modality. Contractor shall notify FPB designee, of any staff vacancies or terminations.

Brisbane City Region), on a rostered cycle, and who indicate a willingness to make themselves readily available for work outside normal hours. Employees undergoing Rehabilitation Work or who have a current record of poor performance and/or attendance may not be considered for such work.
Staff Selection. The opportunity to be engaged on such work is to be extended equally to all employees engaged in the immediate locality (eg. South East Queensland), on a rostered cycle, and who indicate a willingness to make themselves readily available for work outside normal hours. When selecting staff to undertake furniture shifts management should consider the employee’s physical capabilities and record of poor performance.
Staff Selection a. Selection Process: The District shall implement the Board's reduced educational program by identifying the least senior employee(s) currently assigned to the positions being eliminated up to the amount of FTE being reduced. These employees shall be considered "displaced employees." Beginning with the most senior displaced employee, the District shall reassign the displaced employee to replace the least senior employee in any other position for which the displaced employee qualifies (see (b) below.) The less senior employee who is now displaced also shall be reassigned in a similar manner if possible. If there is no less senior employee for a displaced employee to replace, the employee shall be identified for layoff.
