STAND-BY FOR WORK. 6.6.1 A stand-by for work is that period of time when an employee is required by their employer to hold themselves in readiness to perform work outside of their ordinary working hours but is not required to be at their place of employment during that period of stand-by. Provided an employee and their employer make arrangements as to where the employee may be contacted by the employer and meet the employer's request to report for work if necessary or be released from standing by for work, the employee's movements during such period of stand-by will be unrestricted. 6.6.2 For all time an employee is required to stand-by for work they will be paid as follows: (a) Weekly employees at the rate of the full-time employee's hourly day work rate as prescribed by this agreement; or

STAND-BY FOR WORK. 6.5.1 A stand by for work is that period of time when an employee (excluding a casual employee) is required by their employer to hold themselves in readiness to perform work outside of their ordinary working hours but is not required to be at their place of employment during that period of stand by. Provided an employee and their employer make arrangements as to where the employee may be contacted by the employer and meet the employer's request to report for work if necessary or be released from standing by for work, the employee's movements during such period of stand by will be unrestricted. 6.5.2 For all time an employee is required to stand by for work as described in 6.5.1, they will be paid at the employees hourly rate as prescribed. 6.5.3 An employee required to stand by for work at their place of employment will be paid as though they were working, ie. if such stand by is during: 6.5.3 (a) the ordinary hours of work, payment will be made at and be part of their ordinary wage; or

STAND-BY FOR WORK. 9.8.1 When an Employee is required to hold over in readiness for a call to work after ordinary hours, the Employee shall be paid at ordinary rates for the time the Employee is so held in readiness.
STAND-BY FOR WORK. 46.1 A stand by for work is that period of time when an employee is required by RACV to hold themselves in readiness to perform work outside of their ordinary working hours but is not required to be at their place of employment during that period of stand by. Provided an employee and RACV make arrangements as to where the employee may be contacted by RACV and meet RACV’s request to report for work if necessary or be released from standing by for work, the employee’s movements during such period of stand by shall be unrestricted. 46.2 For all time a Patrol (other than a casual employee) is required to stand by for work as described in sub-clause 46.1, he shall be paid standing by time at the employee’s ordinary rate of pay until notified of release. If a Patrol on stand by is recalled to work, he shall be entitled to payment of overtime in accordance with sub-clause 44.1(b) hereof.
STAND-BY FOR WORK. 9.9.1 When an Officer is required to hold over in readiness for a call to work after ordinary hours, the Officer shall be paid at ordinary rates for the time the Officer is so held in readiness.

  • Authorization to Perform Services The Consultant is not authorized to perform any services or incur any costs whatsoever under the terms of this Agreement until receipt of a written Notice to Proceed from the City.

  • Responsibility for Use (a) The Company alone will be responsible for furnishing, or arranging for a third party to furnish, all data and information required by the Documentation and the specifications therein for the Licensed System to function and perform in accordance with the Documentation, other than the data and information residing in the Licensed System in connection with BNYM’s performance of the Core Services. BNYM shall have no liability or responsibility for any Loss caused in whole or in part by the Company’s or a Permitted User’s exercise of the Licensed Rights or use of the Licensed System or by data or information of any nature inputted into the Licensed System by or under the direction or authorization of Company or a Permitted User; provided, however, this Section 2.5 shall not relieve BNYM of its obligation to act in accordance with its obligations under the Main Agreement. Company shall be responsible and solely liable for the cost or expense of regenerating any output or other remedial action if the Company, a Permitted User or an agent of either shall have failed to transmit properly and in the correct format any data or information, shall have transmitted erroneous or incorrect information or data, or shall have failed to timely verify or reconcile any such data or information when it is generated by the Licensed System (“Data Faults”).

  • Responsibility for Property Except as expressly set forth in Section 3.25, Contractor shall limit its operations to the Stage 2 Site. Contractor shall plan and conduct its operations so that neither Contractor nor any of its Subcontractors or Sub-subcontractors shall (i) enter upon lands (other than the Stage 2 Site and Off-Site Rights of Way and Easements) or waterbodies in their natural state unless authorized by the appropriate owner or entity; (ii) close or obstruct any utility installation, highway, waterway, harbor, road or other property unless Permits are obtained and authorized by the appropriate entity or authority; or (iii) disrupt or otherwise interfere with the operation of any portion of any pipeline, telephone, conduit or electric transmission line, ditch, navigational aid, dock or structure unless otherwise specifically authorized by the appropriate entity or authority. The foregoing includes damage arising from performance of the Work through operation of Construction Equipment or stockpiling of materials. If damage occurs to Subproject 1 or Subproject 2 prior to substantial completion of such applicable Subproject 1 or Subproject 2, liability for such damage shall be governed by the Stage 1 EPC Agreement.

  • Outside Work All work necessary to the assembling, installation, erection, operation, maintenance, repair, control, in- spection and supervision of all electrical apparatus, devices, wires, cables, supports, insulators, conduc- tors, ducts and raceways when part of distributing systems outside of buildings, railroads and outside the directly related railroad property and yards. In- stalling and maintaining the catenary and trolley work on railroad property, and bonding of rails. All underground ducts and cables when they are in- stalled by and are part of the system of a distrib- uting company, except in power stations during new construction, including ducts and cables to adjacent switch racks or substations. All outdoor substations and electrical connections up to and including the setting of transformers and the connecting of the secondary buses thereto. Outside work to include renewable electrical energy sources such as solar photovoltaic, geothermal, wind, biomass, wave, etc., and other distributed en- ergy installations such as fuel cells, microturbines, etc.

  • Responsibility for Damage Resident is solely responsible for any damage, defacement or loss arising within the assigned bedroom space. All assigned residents of an apartment are jointly and severally responsible for any damage, defacement or loss to common areas, other parts of the Property, fixtures or appliances, except for the portion of damages over $100,000 where it is finally established that Resident or one or more other residents of the apartment were solely at fault for the entire loss, in which case such person(s) will be solely responsible. Resident is fully responsible for the conduct of Resident’s guests, visitors, licensees and invitees (“Guests”), including without limitation harm to individuals or damage or defacement of any part of the Property or its fixtures or property of third parties (including other residents) by such Guests.
