Method of Taking Leave. (i) Annual leave may be taken in either or both of the following ways: -
(a) At a time, and for a period, fixed by the Company where there is an annual close down, provided that, where practical, at least one month's notice is given of the period of close down; or,
(b) In periods of not less than one week, provided that the employee seeks the agreement of the Company at least one week before commencing the period of annual leave.
(ii) Where an employee has a credit of annual leave remaining in excess of 2 years after the credit of leave in question accrued, the Company shall require the employee to take annual leave until the outstanding credit is exhausted.
Method of Taking Leave. (a) Either 28 consecutive days, or two separate periods of not less than seven consecutive days in all cases exclusive of any public holidays will be given and taken within six months from the date when the right to annual leave accrued. The employer and employee will seek to reach agreement on the taking of annual leave at a mutually convenient time(s). If not taken within six months from the date it accrued, either the employer or employee may give at least four weeks' notice of the dates when all, or part of the accrued leave will be taken.
(b) Where an employee requests that leave be allowed in one continuous period such request will not be unreasonably refused.
(c) Continuous shift workers will be entitled to 5 weeks of paid annual leave, in accordance with s.87(1)(b)(ii) of the Fair Work Xxx 0000 (Cth)
(d) In the circumstances where a public holiday falls within one day of a weekend or another public holiday the provisions of 29.2(a) may be altered by agreement between the employer and a majority of employees affected under this Agreement to provide that a day of annual leave entitlement may be granted on the day between the said public holidays and/or weekend if an employee, or employer, requests it.

(b) Where an employee requests that leave be allowed in one continuous period such request shall not be unreasonably refused. In the event of lack of agreement between the parties the matter shall be referred to a Board of Reference.
(c) In circumstances where a holiday falls within one day of a weekend or another holiday the provisions of paragraph (a) hereof may be altered by agreement between the employer and a majority of employees affected under this award to provide that a single day of annual leave entitlement may be granted on the day between the said holiday and/or weekend.
(d) Where annual leave is proposed to be given and taken in two periods, on of which is to be in conjunction with the Christmas and New Year holidays, representatives of the employers and employees, parties to this award, shall meet not later than the 31st day of July in each year in order to fix the commencing and finishing dates for the following Christmas/New Year period of leave. Where no agreement can be reached between the representatives, the matter shall be referred to the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission for determination.
Method of Taking Leave. Leave is to be given and taken in one continuous period, or if the Employer and the employee agree in not more than three separate periods in respect of the first thirteen weeks entitlement and in not more than two separate periods in respect of any subsequent entitlement.
Method of Taking Leave. Annual Leave may be taken in any manner agreed between the employee and Departmental Manager. At least a block of five (5) days must be taken together in the twelve month period once such leave has been accrued. Annual Leave to which an employee is entitled shall be taken within 12 months after
Method of Taking Leave. Annual leave shall not be granted for less than one (1) day, i.e. seven point six (7.6) hours. When an employee requests that leave be allowed in one continuous period, such request shall not be unreasonably refused. In the event of lack of agreement between the employer and employee the matter may be dealt with in accordance with the fair treatment procedure. Employees and their supervisors shall amend rosters to enable the scheduling of annual leave throughout the year to ensure continuity of maintenance and productive operation and an equal distribution of employees on leave. Guidelines shall be developed by management to enable orderly assessing of annual leave.
Method of Taking Leave a) Where annual leave is proposed to be given and taken during the Christmas and New Year holidays. The Company will consult with its Employees no later than 31 October in each year in order to fix the commencing and finishing dates for the forthcoming Christmas - New Year period of leave.
b) Where no agreement can be reached between the Company and its Employees, the matter shall be dealt with in accordance with the Dispute Resolution Procedure of this Agreement.
Method of Taking Leave. Annual leave will be taken at a time mutually agreed upon by the employer and the employee and in the absence of agreement at a time fixed by the employer.
Method of Taking Leave. Either 28 consecutive days, or two separate periods of not less than seven consecutive days (in all cases exclusive of any public holidays occurring therein), shall be given and taken within six months from the date when the right to annual leave accrued. Provided that an employee may elect, with the consent of the employer, to take annual leave in single day periods or part of a single day not exceeding five days in any calendar year at a time or times agreed between them. Where an employee requests that leave be allowed in one continuous period such request shall not be unreasonably refused. In the event of lack of agreement between the employer and the employees the matter shall be dealt with in accordance with Clause 31 – Disputes Settling Procedure of this Agreement.
