Summer Recess. The Company will support the application for unemployment insurance sought by employees who are not working during the summer recess.
Summer Recess. Notice of posting is to be sent via email to the bargaining unit members. The posting will include job title and building (where appropriate). Openings that occur within 14 calendar days prior to the first teacher work day in any given contract year are not subject to normal posting procedure. The Association President will be given a written notification of each resignation received by the Board for the summer months.

In the event that a grievance is filed on or after June 1, the parties agree to make a good faith effort to reduce the time limits set forth herein so that the grievance procedure may be exhausted prior to the end of the school term or as soon thereafter as is practicable. Summer Recess. Provided the employee was available to work during the summer, did not refuse summer work, or failed to work mandatory summer assignment, the Company will support an employee’s unemployment claim.
