Superintendent Meeting. The Association President and/or designee may meet with the Superintendent and/or designee at least once a month during the school year to review and discuss current school problems and practices and the administration of this Contract. Upon mutual agreement others may be in attendance.
Superintendent Meeting. The grievant(s) shall present the grievance in writing within twenty (20) days of knowledge of the alleged contract violation, stating the article and clause alleged to have been violated and the remedy sought to the superintendent involved. In an effort to hear the grievance the superintendent will convene a grievance meeting with the grievant and his/her representative within ten (10) days of receiving the grievance. The superintendent shall provide a written response to the grievant within ten (10) days after the grievance meeting.
Superintendent Meeting. 1. An involuntary transfer or reassignment shall be made only after a meeting between the professional employee involved and the Superintendent or his/her designee, at which time the professional employee will be notified of the reasons thereof, except that a temporary transfer or reassignment up to thirty (30) school days can be made in an emergency without such a meeting. In the event that a professional employee objects to the transfer or reassignment at this meeting, upon request of the professional employee, the Association will be notified, and the Superintendent or his/her designee will meet with the Association's representative to discuss the matter.
2. The Association, at its option, may count the initial time limit for filing grievances relative to involuntary transfers or reassignments from the day following the date upon which such meeting has taken place or from the date of the violation.
Superintendent Meeting. Within seven (7) business days after receiving either a completed Grievance Form B (in the event the Educator is not a member of the Association) or Grievance Form C, the Superintendent shall hold an interview with the Grievant. In special circumstances, the number of days may be extended if mutually agreed upon by the parties. A representative of the Association (preferably a member of the Professional Rights and Responsibility Committee) chosen by both the President of the Association and the Grievant shall be invited to attend this interview. If the interview is not held within the appropriate time period, the grievance shall automatically be referred to a hearing officer. The District shall pay the cost of the hearing officer if the delay has been caused by the District.
