TB Tests. All bargaining unit members of the Board may be required to avail themselves of an approved TB Test. The results of the test shall be on file in the Superintendent’s office.
TB Tests. At the time of employment and annually thereafter or as otherwise required by applicable regulations, the Employer shall arrange for nurses to take a TB skin test at no cost to the nurse. The Employer shall be responsible for notifying the nurse in the month of the nurse’s birthday of the need for an updated TB skin test; it shall be the nurse’s responsibility to follow up with appropriate Hospital personnel to ensure compliance with TB testing requirements. In the event of a positive reaction to this test, the Employer will arrange for a chest X-ray, if required, at no cost to the nurse. Said tests and X-rays shall be performed at the Employer’s hospital unless they can be performed elsewhere at no cost to the Employer.
TB Tests. To provide continuing health and safety protection for students and school personnel, employees shall provide health certificates and submit to physical examinations as follows: If required by the Board, as a condition of continued employment, each employee shall be required to file the results of a chest x-ray examination or tuberculin skin test showing negative results. The results of this test must be filed with the Human Resources Department.
TB Tests. A test for TB is required for all new employees at the expense of the BOARD at a location designated by the BOARD. Test results must be submitted to the Personnel Office as required. Those employees for whom the TB skin test produced inadequate test results must take the skin test or provide test results at their own expense. Employees who can produce satisfactory evidence that the TB skin test does not produce adequate test results for them, must have a chest x-ray at the expense of the BOARD at a location for which the BOARD shall provide.
TB Tests. 5.1 Required TB tests shall be provided at District expense through an exclusive provider. In the event a unit member selects a different provider, the District will pay the expense up to the maximum payable to the exclusive provider. The District shall provide released time after the student day for this purpose.
TB Tests. In a method determined by the Employer, yearly TB tests shall be provided for by the Employer.
Section 5. Those employees whose job incurs the risk of occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens will be offered to have proper immunization including Hepatitis B. At the sole discretion of the Employer, the LCGHD may offer vaccines or prophylactics to employees directly in contact with an occupational exposure to a preventable disease.
TB Tests. At the beginning of employment, the Employer shall arrange for all registered nurses to have TB testing as required by applicable law. All nurses must have continued annual TB testing, which will be provided at Employer expense.
TB Tests. The District shall pay the cost charged by the District Occupational Medicine Clinic for the routine skin test for unit members at the time of initial employment and every four (4) years thereafter. For unit members who are required to submit to a chest x-ray for proof that they are free from tuberculosis, the employee may utilize their medical carrier for such clearance, and the District shall reimburse the maximum copayment amount of a District offered medical plan. Should an employee elect to utilize the District Occupational Medicine Clinic for such clearance, the District shall incur the full cost.
