Temporary Supervision. Subject to the maximum permitted, employees who are assigned to act temporarily in a PWU represented supervisory position will be paid 10% above their individual wage rate except when reporting directly to another Union Supervisor in which case employees will be paid 5% above their individual wage rate. In no case will these temporary pay rates be more than 15% above the terminal rate of the band.
Temporary Supervision. When two or more employees are working together off site the employer will appoint a Temporary Supervisor from that group of employees.
Temporary Supervision. A. Any member of the bargaining unit assigned to work in any supervisory position shall receive pay for Acting Rank while in the position (to be the difference in hourly rate), provided that a minimum of six (6) hours is worked in said position.
B. Temporary Supervision - Pay will be received for Acting Rank as follows:
1. Lieutenant for Captain (as per previous grievance settlement)
2. MPO for Lieutenant
3. Firefighter for MPO
4. Relief Officer for Lieutenant or Captain (as per previous grievance settlement) i.e., difference between The regularly paid MPO’s (drivers) on each crew will be allowed to step up to the position of Lieutenant. The Relief Officers may step up to Lieutenant or Captain. Any member with six (6) years of WRFD experience that is on the current Relief Officer/Lieutenant list, has completed a tactics course that has been approved by the Fire Chief, and has been mentored as a Lieutenant may step up to the position of Lieutenant. Any Firefighter that is currently listed on the list of qualified apparatus operation in the Chief’s file, or who has completed Fire Apparatus Driver Operation (FADO) training, will be allowed to step up to a MPO (driver).
Temporary Supervision. 27.01 Provided on each assignment four (4) continuous hours' work are so performed, whenever the Employer assigns a journeyman or skilled worker to be in charge of a group consisting of two (2) or more employees, the journeyman or skilled worker so assigned shall be paid a premium of five-and-a-half percent [5.5%] of the Powerline Technician’s current rate per hour for such hours so assigned.

Temporary Supervision. It is agreed that up to eight (8) Employees may be transferred out of the bargaining unit for temporary supervisory duty for not more than sixty (60) working days in each calendar year (Jan to Dec). These Employees shall continue to retain their seniority and be reinstated in the job they held when they left the bargaining unit without loss of seniority. If for whatever reason an Employee ceases to be a temporary supervisor, the Employer has the right to select another individual as above who will have the same rights and time limitations. Should special circumstances arise which require an extension of the time limits in this provision, the time limit may be extended by agreement of the parties. In calculating the sixty (60) days, any work performed during a day as a temporary supervisor will constitute one (1) day. The Employer agrees to notify the Union of all days worked by temporary supervisors once each month. Such notification will contain the number of days worked by each temporary supervisor for current reporting month and current year in total.
Temporary Supervision. A temporary Supervisor will be appointed by the Manager and will be paid the Company’s current allowance for the period of appointment. The temporary Supervisor will conduct all duties associated with the role within his/her skills. Training will be provided to support these requirements.
Temporary Supervision. A bargaining unit employee may accept an assignment in a temporary supervisory capacity for fifteen (15) accumulative days each contract year without loss of seniority. Once an employee exceeds the fifteen (15) accumulative days in one contract year he/she would be considered the same as in paragraph (a) above.

Temporary Supervision. An employee appointed by the Company to be a Temporary Supervisor shall be paid a 15% increase of hourly rate, for the period the employee is a Supervisor.
