Textbooks and Materials Sample Clauses

Textbooks and Materials. Students participating in a COURSE under this AGREEMENT will not be charged for textbooks, equipment, and materials. The DISTRICT shall take on all costs associated with instruction materials including but not limited to textbooks, equipment, and supplies and other instructional materials as required to support COURSES under this AGREEMENT for participating high school students. PACCD faculty, through local academic senate, discipline committees, and collegial conversations, will explore ways to minimize the cost of textbooks and instructional materials. All instructional equipment and materials needed for the courses will be listed within the CA.
Textbooks and Materials. A. The District or student will be responsible for the textbook(s) required for all dual credit courses as noted above. B. For Type A Courses, the College will specify whether a common textbook has been selected by faculty for all sections of the course taught at the College. 1. If there is no common textbook, the Instructor will determine textbook and course materials in consultation with the College; textbook and materials must address equivalent content and the same learning outcomes as the outcomes expected of the same courses taught at the College. 2. If there is a common textbook and set of course materials, the common textbook and materials will be used unless the College, in consultation with the District, agrees to a different textbook and materials covering equivalent content and the same learning outcomes. The College will consider any alternatives proposed by the District, but will retain final decision-making authority. C. For Type B Courses, the college faculty member will specify the required textbook and materials unless the faculty member, in consultation with the District, agrees to a different textbook and materials covering equivalent content and the same learning outcomes. For Type D Courses, the District may elect to either purchase such items on behalf of students, or have the students purchase textbooks and materials in accordance with standard College policies. For any Type A or Type B Course where the College specifies the textbook, the College agrees to allow the use of the textbook for at least four (4) years, provided the use of a previously published edition of the textbook does not appreciably impact the content and delivery of the Course.
Textbooks and Materials. Textbooks or materials required for each course shall be determined by the faculty and specified in the course syllabus. South Texas ISD will provide P-TECH students all textbooks, software, technology, support equipment, and supplemental materials required for the classes.

Textbooks will remain the property of MCSS. b) MCSS will provide required textbooks and certain materials for High School Students enrolled in high school courses at the School. Any student who misplaces or mistreats these books will have to pay to purchase another. All textbooks are the property of the school. If a student leaves CCA during school year, all texts are to remain as the property of the school. All hardcover textbooks should be covered in an acceptable way. Stretchy covers are not allowed. Uncovered textbooks are an indication that a student is unprepared for class.

  • Licensed Materials The materials that are the subject of this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A ("Licensed Materials").

  • Time and Materials If this contract is designated as a Time and Materials contract, invoicing and payment shall be as follows: (a) Consultant shall submit invoices, not more often than once a month during the term of this agreement, based on the cost for work performed in accordance with the Rate Schedule in the Scope of Work and authorized reimbursable expenses incurred prior to the invoice date. Invoices shall contain the following information: (i) Serial identifications of bills, i.e., Xxxx No. 1; (ii) The beginning and ending dates of the billing period; (iii) A summary containing the total contract amount, the amount of prior xxxxxxxx, the total due this period, percentage of work completed, the remaining balance available for all remaining billing periods, and a brief description of work completed during the billing period. (b) City shall make monthly payments, based on such invoices, for satisfactory progress in completion of the Scope of Work, and for authorized reimbursable expenses incurred.

  • Training Materials Training Materials will be provided for each student. Training Materials may be used only for either (i) the individual student’s reference during Boeing provided training and for review thereafter or (ii) Customer’s provision of training to individuals directly employed by the Customer.

  • Proprietary Materials Each of the Parties shall own its own intellectual property including without limitation all trade secrets, know-how, proprietary data, documents, and written materials in any format. Any materials created exclusively by IPS for the School shall be owned by IPS, and any materials created exclusively by Operator for the School shall be Operator’s proprietary material. The Parties acknowledge and agree that neither has any intellectual property interest or claims in the other Party’s proprietary materials. Notwithstanding the foregoing, materials and work product jointly created by the Parties shall be jointly owned by the Parties and may be used by the individual Party as may be agreed upon by both Parties from time to time.

  • Third Party Materials The Application may display, include, or make available third-party content (including data, information, applications, and other products, services, and/or materials) or provide links to third-party websites or services, including through third- party advertising ("Third-Party Materials"). You acknowledge and agree that Company is not responsible for Third-Party Materials, including their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, validity, copyright compliance, legality, decency, quality, or any other aspect thereof. Company does not assume and will not have any liability or responsibility to you or any other person or entity for any Third-Party Materials. Third-Party Materials and links thereto are provided solely as a convenience to you, and you access and use them entirely at your own risk and subject to such third parties' terms and conditions.

  • Operator Materials Operator retains all right, title and interest in and to any and all of Operator’s software, materials, tools, forms, documentation, training and implementation materials and intellectual property (“Operator Materials”). Operator grants to the LEA a personal, nonexclusive license to use the Operator Materials for its own non-commercial, incidental use as set forth in the Service Agreement. Operator represents that it has all intellectual property rights necessary to enter into and perform its obligations in this DPA and the Service Agreement, warrants to the District that the District will have use of any intellectual property contemplated by the Service Agreement free and clear of claims of any nature by any third Party including, without limitation, copyright or patent infringement claims, and agrees to indemnify the District for any related claims.

  • Stored Materials Upon prior written agreement between the Contractor and Region 4 ESC, payment may be made for materials not incorporated in the work but delivered and suitably stored at the site or some other location, for installation at a later date. An inventory of the stored materials must be provided to Region 4 ESC prior to payment. Such materials must be stored and protected in a secure location and be insured for their full value by the Contractor against loss and damage. Contractor agrees to provide proof of coverage and additionally insured upon request. Additionally, if stored offsite, the materials must also be clearly identified as property of Region 4 ESC and be separated from other materials. Region 4 ESC must be allowed reasonable opportunity to inspect and take inventory of stored materials, on or offsite, as necessary. Until final acceptance by Region 4 ESC, it shall be the Contractor's responsibility to protect all materials and equipment. Contractor warrants and guarantees that title for all work, materials and equipment shall pass to Region 4 ESC upon final acceptance.
