Transport and Travel. 6.1 All Students are required to organise their own transport to London. (London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London St. Pancras International) 6.2 Students must arrive and leave on the arrival and departure dates specified in the letter of acceptance unless in exceptional circumstances previously arranged with the Academy. 6.3 Students should inform the Academy of their travel plans by the date notified to them by the Academy. 6.4 All Students travelling on the specified arrival and departure dates will be met at, or accompanied to, the airport or railway station by a member of the Academy Staff. 6.5 Transfers between the Academy and London airports or railway station (only London Heathrow, London Gatwick airports or London St. Pancras International railway station) will be provided by the Academy on the specified arrival and departure dates only. 6.6 Should the Student arrive on any other date for any reason, the Academy may, at its sole discretion, be able to arrange transport for the Student to the Academy however will not be held responsible for this and cannot guarantee that this will be possible or practicable. Any expense that the Academy incurs will be billed to the Student, Parent/Guardian.

Participants are responsible for keeping their own possessions safe and secure while they are attending the Summer School. The Organisers will make reasonable endeavours to take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of possessions whilst at the Summer School, but cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property caused by theft, fire, flood, computer virus or any other cause except where loss or damage is caused by the Organiser’s negligence or that of its employees.

A variety of transport methods should be considered by the Service Provider in seeking to make suitable arrangements to meet the travel and transport needs of each Service User as identified in their care and support plan and associated risk assessment. The risk assessment should consider the number of support staff needed when considering public and private transport 15.2 It is anticipated that support workers using their cars to take Service Users to places will not generally be in line with good practice. Service Users must be enabled to walk, use buses, taxis, etc. with support if necessary. Service Users travel costs will be met from their personal money.

Residents must be enabled to walk or use public transport with support if necessary. 24.4 Residents' travel costs will be met from their own personal money. 24.5 Where the Provider uses its own transport, for example a minibus, charges will be construed as an Extras as defined under clauses 5.19 - 5.25 of the terms and conditions of contract.

The Government, within its national boundaries, shall grant such transport facilities as may be necessary for the rapid and efficient execution of WFP activities and activities assisted by WFP. The applicable general principles are the following: a. The Government shall facilitate expeditious loading and unloading of food commodities, equipment, provisions, supplies, fuel, materials and other items and goods employed in connection with WFP activities and activities assisted by WFP at ports and airports and facilitate their transit at border checkpoints. WFP aircraft, vehicles and vessels may use roads, bridges, canals and other waters, railway lines and other transport infrastructure, including airfields, without the payment of any type of direct or indirect taxes, dues, tolls or other charges, including airport landing fees. WFP, its contractors and cooperating partners shall be exempted from taxes and similar charges, such as value-added tax, on the transport of items related to WFP activities and activities assisted by WFP; d. Air operators and aircraft hired by WFP shall not be subject to any registration, certification or licencing by the Government, provided that aircraft are duly registered and that air operators hold all required certificates and permits required under the national regulatory requirements of a State party to the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation (ICAO) of 7 December 1944 and its annexes; e. The Government shall facilitate the entry into, departure from and transit through its territory of aircraft engaged in relief flights as set forth in annex 9, chapter 8 of the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation (ICAO) of 7 December 1944; and f. WFP vehicles and vessels shall not be subject to any registration, certification or licencing by the Government, provided that they are duly registered with a competent authority empowered to do so, in accordance w...
Transport and Travel. 68.1 All employees will be provided with appropriate forms of transport necessary to perform their duties during working hours. 68.2 The employer shall meet all reasonable transport costs incurred by the employee in the course of his or her duties, other than the cost of travelling between their place of residence and their usual place of work, subject to the provisions of sub-clause 68.1.

  • Transportation Transportation expenses include, but are not limited to, airplane, train, bus, taxi fares, rental cars, parking, mileage reimbursement, and tolls that are reasonably and necessarily incurred as a result of conducting State business.   • Trunk Group Architecture and Traffic Routing 5.2.1 The Parties shall jointly establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks between CLEC and CBT by which they will jointly provide Tandem-transported Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic from and to CLEC's Customers. 5.2.2 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access and non-translated Toll Free traffic (e.g., 800/888) to allow CLEC’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier that is connected to the CBT access Tandem. 5.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be one-way or two-way trunks, as mutually agreed, connecting an End Office Switch that CLEC utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access Service in the given LATA to an access Tandem Switch CBT utilizes to provide Exchange Access in the LATA.

  • Transporting Students 1. Employees shall not transport students except in accordance with School Board rules. The Board shall adopt a school board policy outlining the teacher’s and the Board’s responsibilities and liabilities. HC agrees to the following for the college preparatory mathematics courses: i. To provide the Student Learning Outcomes; ii. To provide the syllabi for the courses being offered. iii. To provide regular meetings between the HC faculty and ISD faculty teaching the course. C. HC agrees to the following for the college preparatory English language arts course: i. To provide the Student Learning Outcomes for Integrated Reading/Writing (INRW 0303) course; ii. To provide the syllabi, including types of essays required (i.e., expository, persuasive, and critical analysis). iii. To provide regular meetings between the HC faculty and ISD faculty teaching the course. D. ISD agrees to the following for both the mathematics and English language arts courses: i. To provide highly qualified instructors for the courses being taught; ii. To identify students who are not college ready as stated in HB 5; iii. To provide professional development and resources required to teach the mathematics and English language arts courses; iv. To identify successful completion of the course(s) on the student transcripts as determined by the State of Texas PEIMS number; v. To provide curriculum for the course that is consistent with HC Student Learning Outcomes; vi. To provide assistance with admission, enrollment, and financial aid applications; E. ISD agrees to the following for the college preparatory mathematics course: i. To teach a math course designed to focus on college mathematics (algebraic or non‐algebraic) concepts; ii. Require students to meet college readiness scores on the TSI Assessment; iii. To meet regularly with HC faculty. F. ISD agrees to the following for the college preparatory English language arts course: i. To teach an integrated Reading and Writing course that focuses on critical reading and college‐level writing; ii. Require students to meet college readiness scores on the TSI Assessment; iii. To meet regularly with HC faculty.
