UNION/MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. The F.O.P. and the University shall upon request of either party schedule mutually agreed upon meetings for the purpose of reviewing the administration of the Agreement and to discuss problems, which may have arisen. Such meetings shall not occur more than twice annually. Such meetings are not intended to by- pass the grievance procedure or to be considered negotiating meetings, but are intended to be a means of fostering good employer-employee relations. Such meetings may be attended by the one (1) representatives employed by the University, who shall not lose pay for time spent during their regularly scheduled working hours at such meetings. If the representative is not available the FOP President may attend in his or her place who may or may not be an employee of the University.

UNION/MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. ‌ A. The times, dates and places of the meetings shall be agreed upon by the parties. Time spent by up to five (5) nurses participating in the Union/Management conference shall be counted as time worked when it falls during the employee's scheduled working hours. B. At least ten (10) days prior to each meeting the Medical Center and the Union will exchange information as to the proposed subject matter to be discussed at the forthcoming meeting and the names of those attending. C. The meetings will be chaired alternately by a designated representative of the Medical Center and a designated representative of the Union. D. An ongoing function of the Union/Management conference is to develop processes that provide opportunities for staff nurses to have more meaningful input into their professional work environment. E. The conference's recommendations and/or findings, as appropriate, will be submitted to the Chief Nursing Officer for consideration, to be reported back to the committee at the next scheduled meeting. F. Minutes will be kept by management and will be submitted to the designated Medical Center or Union chairperson for approval within two weeks after the meeting. Both parties will approve the minutes prior to transmittal of same to others. G. Such meeting shall be exclusive of the grievance procedure provided for by Article 8. Grievances shall

No employee shall lose pay for time he or she spends attending the meeting during his or her regularly scheduled working hours.
UNION/MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. 1. Representatives of the Local Union and representatives of the Board may confer at any time upon the request of either, with the consent of the other party to consider matters of general interest or concern other than grievances. Such conference shall take place at a mutually convenient time and place, and may be attended by no more than five (5) Union representatives employed by the Board who shall not lose pay for time spent during their regular working hours at such conferences. Such conference may be attended by Council No. 73 representatives. 2. The Board agrees to provide meeting space at its facilities during employee's lunch hour for annual election of Union Officers and for one membership meeting every three months. The aforementioned meetings can only be held with notice being given by the Union President or his/her designee to the Director of Welfare or his designee and with prior approval of the Director of Welfare or his designee.
