Union Representatives Access. The Union will furnish the name of the Union representatives to the Employer. Union representatives shall have access to the facility for the purposes of conferring with the Employer, Union Stewards, and/or bargaining unit members, and for the purpose of administering this Agreement. The Union shall provide 24 hours advanced notice of access via email to the facility Administrator prior to entry to the building. The Administrator may deny access in an emailed response, in the event Union representatives do not provide advanced written notice more than 24 hours prior to entry or under extreme circumstances such as state survey, or contagious illness in the facility. If the Administrator does not provide a written response, the Union representative will not be prohibited from accessing the facility. If the facility visit is in relation to filing of an employee’s grievance or the investigation of a potential grievance, the Union representative shall have immediate access to the Employer’s premises. Union Representatives Access. The Union’s duly authorized representatives shall have access to the Clinic’s premises where employees covered by this Agreement are working for the purpose of investigating grievances and contract compliance, excluding employee lounges and pharmacy space restricted to authorized licensed personnel; provided, however, the Union Representative will notify Human Resources in advance of entering and will notify upon leaving the Clinic. Such visits shall be subject to the same rules generally applicable to other non- employees and shall not interfere with patient care.

In order to receive access, such representative must provide notice if possible to the Employer and make necessary arrangements so as not to disrupt the work of the employees. An International Representative of the Union, upon notifying the Employer, shall be permitted on the Employer’s premises during normal working hours for the purpose of investigating grievances for Step 3 or beyond, to conduct other Union business with the Circuit Court Clerk, or to handle internal affairs with the Union.

  • UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS 30.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Co-operative for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. 30.02 The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted, after notifying the General Manager or their designated representative, and shall be: (a) carried on in a place within the Co-operative's premises designated by management; (b) held whenever possible during the lunch period; however, if this is not practical; (c) held during the regular working hours; time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Co-operative time unless with the approval of management; (d) held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public.

  • Union Representatives Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the number may be altered from time to time. Where a Union Representative commences on an extended leave of absence, the Union will endeavour to find a temporary replacement for the Union Representative from within the Home.
