University Services. The University agrees to provide warm and cool water in reasonable quantities, electricity and heating, and if applicable, cooling, according to the heating and cooling system of the individual building. The University is not liable for disruptions in service that are restored in a reasonable amount of time, or for interruptions in service for which notifications are provided to students in a timely fashion. The University shall not be liable for damages, liquidated or otherwise, for interruptions in services that result from the actions of any person or entity other than the DHRL or the University, by any malfunction of any service or facility provided by any other University department, the City of San Marcos, outside providers, any act of nature, fire, war, civil disturbance, or act of government, or by any other cause beyond the direct control of the DHRL. The University shall not be liable for disruptions of service that are not made known in writing by the student to the director of the DHRL or designee.
University Services. The University shall ensure that Instructors have adequate access to libraries, laboratories, copy center services, office supplies, audiovisual services, computer services including email addresses and any other services required to carry out their responsibilities under the Collective Agreement. Instructors may acquire I.D. cards from the Human Resources Department, which shall give them access to these services during and between sessions.
University Services a) University shall maintain the Premises in reasonably good order and condition. Damage caused in whole or part by the act or omission of User will be repaired by University at User's expense, to the extent it arose out of acts or omissions of the User or its representatives. All such work will be performed by University and billed to User at a reasonable rate.
b) University shall manage, operate and administer the Premises; and will manage and maintain the Premises emergency procedures and equipment, including but not limited to posting evacuation diagrams, running annual evacuation drills, and recording and performing routine maintenance tests for fire extinguishers, sprinklers, and alarms. User, its agents, customers, employees and invitees, shall have the non-exclusive right in common with University and all others to whom University has granted or may hereafter grant rights to use the common areas.
c) University shall not be liable or responsible for any interruption in any services that are due to causes beyond University's reasonable control. University reserves the right to stop the service of the air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, or other mechanical systems or facilities on the Premises when necessary by reason of accident or emergency, or for repairs, alterations, replacements, or improvements, which, in the judgment of University, are desirable or necessary until the repairs, alterations, replacement, or improvements shall have been completed. If University shall stop or interrupt the service pursuant to this paragraph, and the interruption should last for longer than five (5) business days, User shall have the right to terminate this contract without any liability to University.
University Services. The Corporation agrees to provide without charge to the Association:
a) The use of XxXxxxx 304 as an office, including the usual office furniture.
b) The use of suitable rooms for meetings of the Association according to established procedures for the reservation of rooms.
c) The Association shall have the right to use all of the normal University services as provided for Members, including secretarial and duplicating services, with the understanding that the business of the Association shall be given the same priority as library correspondence. These services shall be supplied at the Association's expense and shall be billed as necessary.
University Services. Secretarial Services Department secretaries shall be available to faculty members in that department for assistance with University business. Requests for secretarial assistance shall be brought to the attention of the Department Chairperson who shall determine priorities.
University Services. The University will provide the following services on a continual basis, although interruption may be necessitated by an act of God an order of a University/Civil authority, limited or restricted control or availability of resources as determined by the University, maintenance activities or other conditions that is reasonably beyond administrative control. Services are provided in accordance with standards and levels of services determined by the University. It is the expectation of the University that services will be available and uninterrupted and that any disruption of services vital to the health and safety of residents will be restored within a reasonable amount of time. The residence, dining, and telecommunications facilities are provided as services to students and a unique to the University environment. Therefore, the relationship between the student and the University is not a landlord/tenant relationship; rather this Agreement is a license to use certain facilities for a particular period of time.
University Services. This Contract when confirmed by the University permits the student to receive residence hall facilities and services. Although the University will endeavor to pro-vide the following services on a continual basis, interruptions may be necessitated by unforeseen circumstances; an order of a University/civil authority, and/or a limited or restricted control or availability of resources as determined by the University that may necessitate interruptions. It is the expectation of the University that services will be available and uninterrupted and that any disruption of services vital to the health and safety of residents will be restored within a reasonable time. Services rendered include:
University Services. 1.01 UNIVERSITY agrees to provide the following services (the “Services”): a.
University Services. 10.1. LIBRARIES (xxxx://xxx.xxx.xx/ficha.php?id=62379) To use the university libraries International students must have been officially enrolled since they will be required to present their International I.D. card.
University Services. All employees covered under this Agreement will be admitted to University-sponsored events at the same rates and in the same manner as may be established from time to time for the other employees.
(a) The facilities and services of the University health services are available to all employees covered under this Agreement and their families on the same basis and in the same manner as may be established from time to time for other University employees.
(b) Group medical, dental, long-term disability and life insurance are available to all eligible employees covered under this Agreement, pursuant to the terms of the University-wide insurance plan in effect from time to time. Information may be obtained on hospitalization plans from the Office of Human Resources. Insurance booklets are available on the Office of Human Resources web site at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/xxxxx/0000.xxx. Employees without computer access may obtain a printed copy from their departmental office or the Office of Human Resources.
(c) University Library facilities are available to all employees covered under this Agreement.
(d) The recreational facilities of the University are available for use by all employees covered under this Agreement and their families under the same conditions and rules as are applicable to other employees.
(e) Employees may purchase for themselves and family general admission or reserved tickets to University basketball, football, and other athletic events at the same rates established for other University employees.
(f) Employees may purchase books, supplies and articles sold in the Bookstore at the same discount as other University employees upon presentation of their ID card, including BearPass.
(g) Cultural programs will be made available to Union employees at the same rate established for other University employees.
(h) Employees may obtain postal information, purchase stamps and post their mail through the University Postal Service.
(i) Employees may receive credit course fee waivers and payment for noncredit course fees under the same policy and provisions as are applicable to other employees.
