Use of Donated Days. In the event of catastrophic or prolonged, or chronic illness of a bargaining unit member, spouse, domestic partner, child, parent or birth of a child or member of his/her immediate family, a bargaining unit member who has exhausted his/her sick leave may request, through the Association, transfer of unused sick leave days from the sick leave bank to the affected bargaining unit member to be used as sick leave. The request will be reviewed by a committee comprised of the Association President, Association Vice President and the Superintendent with a decision reached by majority vote of that Committee. A letter of notification of the granting or rejecting of the request and, if appropriate, the number of days granted, will be delivered to the applicant. The decision made by the committee is final and cannot be the subject of a grievance. The bargaining unit member does not have to use the ten days of sick leave advanced discussed in Article V, Section (A) sick leave before requesting use of the sick leave. Guidelines for administering this provision will be as follows: a. A doctor’s statement will be required and included with the request for sick leave in order for it to be considered. b. Sick leave days will be paid at 100% of the requesting bargaining unit member‘s daily rate of pay. c. The receiving bargaining unit member will not earn sick leave or personal leave while using donated leave days. d. The receiving bargaining unit member cannot use donated days to extend the date on which his/her disability retirement takes effect, if applicable. e. The receiving bargaining unit member cannot use a total of more than sixty (60) donated leave days during his/her employment with the Bexley Schools.

The request will be reviewed by the Committee. The Committee may request additional information at any time to assist them in their decision. A letter notifying the applicant of the granting or rejecting of the request and, if appropriate, the number of days granted, will be delivered to the applicant. The decision made by the Committee is final and cannot be subject of a grievance or Board’s action. The Committee will notify the Board Treasurer of any days from the sick leave bank to be transferred to the applicant.
Use of Donated Days. ‌ The District shall utilize donated sick leave in the order donations are received, exhausting all days donated by one unit member before beginning to utilize days donated by another unit member. Donated but unused sick leave days shall be returned to the donor.

  • Use of Data (a) In connection with the provision of the services and the discharge of its other obligations under this Agreement, State Street (which term for purposes of this Section XXIX includes each of its parent company, branches and affiliates (''Affiliates")) may collect and store information regarding a Trust and share such information with its Affiliates, agents and service providers in order and to the extent reasonably necessary (i) to carry out the provision of services contemplated under this Agreement and other agreements between the Trusts and State Street or any of its Affiliates and (ii) to carry out management of its businesses, including, but not limited to, financial and operational management and reporting, risk management, legal and regulatory compliance and client service management.

  • Use of Volunteers The School covenants and represents that all volunteers it allows access to its students or the Facility will comply with state regulations regarding the use of volunteers set out in Section 6.50.18

  • Use of Vacation 23.2.2.1 Academic staff members may use vacation at times approved by the Xxxx which shall not interfere with the operation of the College. Except under unusual circumstances, members shall not be permitted to use vacation during a period of time when they are engaged in the instructional process, including the supervision and grading of exams. Notwithstanding the aforementioned provision, a member may use the maximum entitlement at any one time. 23.2.2.2 Upon written request to the Xxxx, an academic staff member may carry over unused vacation entitlement earned in one academic year to the next academic year, provided it will not interfere with the operation of the unit. All carried over vacation must then be used in the year into which it is carried over. 23.2.2.3 Academic staff members must use vacation (four, five or six weeks, or pro-rata) yearly according to the provisions of this clause, and no arrangements may be made for payment in lieu, during the course of employment. With confirmation of the Xxxx, where all vacation credits were not used in advance of termination, the balance will be paid to the academic staff member. The maximum amount of payout shall be limited to the current year’s entitlement.

  • Use of Software Any software that is available on the Services ("Software") is the copyrighted work of Red Hat and/or its licensors. Copying or reproducing the Software to any other server or location for further reproduction or redistribution is strictly prohibited, unless such reproduction or redistribution is permitted by a license agreement accompanying such Software. You may not create derivative works of the Software, or attempt to decompile or reverse-engineer the Software unless otherwise permitted by law.   • Use of Likeness As part of the consideration for this Housing Agreement, Resident authorizes Owner and its affiliates to make photographs and video recordings of Resident in community and resident amenity areas, and irrevocably grants Owner and its affiliates a royalty-free license to use Resident’s image and likeness for all lawful purposes, including promotional purposes in advertising, video, web, social media and other formats.
