VACATION; PERSONAL. “BLACKOUT” DAYS
VACATION; PERSONAL. Days Off, and Absence hours will be determined by the schedule tour the part-time employee selects to a forty (40) hour workweek. A part-time employee shall not be paid Sickness Absence payments unless such absence due to sickness occurs on a day of the week on which the employee is normally scheduled to work and a full-time employee in the same circumstance would be paid.
VACATION; PERSONAL. SICK LEAVE ACCUMULATION Employees will be credited with their annual vacation, personal, and sick leave as of January 1 of each year. This time shall be prorated on a monthly basis for any employee hired after January 1 of each year. This time, including vacation, shall also be prorated, retroactively if necessary, on a monthly basis for employees on a leave of absence for any reason or suspended from duty. If any employee for any reason does not complete any respective calendar year in the employ of the Town, that year’s vacation, personal and sick leave shall be retroactively prorated. If an employee is determined to have exceeded that year’s allotment in any leave category, the Town will deduct any monies owed to the Town 7/ 12/16 from the employee’s final paycheck. If the employee’s final paycheck is insufficient to meet the employee’s actual or potential repayment obligations, the employee shall be deemed to have consented to recoupment based on terms and conditions to be set by the Town at the time of recoupment. Any dispute as to the amount of the recoupment shall be subject to the grievance procedure. Employees who separate from employment prior to the completion of the initial probationary period shall not be entitled to payment for any accrued unused leave time.

  • Vacation; Sick Leave During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to not less than four (4) weeks of vacation during each calendar year and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s policies and practices with respect to its executives.

The Employer may not adopt or enforce any policy that counts the use of paid sick leave time as an absence that may lead to or result in disciplinary action for an authorized purpose. The Employer may not discriminate or retaliate against an employee for the use of paid sick leave for an authorized purpose.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to (a) sick leave in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to similarly situated executive officers of the Company from time to time and (b) 4 weeks paid vacation each calendar year (up to 40 hours of which may be carried forward to a succeeding year).

  • Vacation; Holidays The Executive shall be entitled to all public holidays observed by the Company and vacation days in accordance with the applicable vacation policies for senior executives of the Company, which shall be taken at a reasonable time or times.
