Vacations Part-Time. Note: Nurses who were employed prior to October 23rd, 1981 are entitled to vacation on the following basis: A nurse who has worked 200 tours but less than 400 tours will receive six percent (6%) of her applicable earnings in a calendar year. A nurse who has worked 400 tours or more shall receive eight percent (8%) of her applicable earnings in a calendar year. Vacations Part-Time. All employees with less than five (5) years of service shall receive vacation pay in an amount equal to 4% of their actual earnings for the year. Employees with five (5) or more years of service shall receive vacation pay in an amount equal to 6% of their actual earnings for the year.
Vacations Part-Time. 23.01 For the purpose of calculating vacation pay the following formula will apply: A part-time employee who has worked less than 5,175 hours will receive four percent (4%) of her gross applicable earnings in a calendar year. A part-time employee who has worked 5,175 hours but less than 13,800 hours shall receive six percent (6%) of her gross applicable earnings in a calendar year. A part-time employee who has worked 13,800 hours but less than 25,875 hours shall receive eight percent (8%) of her gross applicable earnings in a calendar year. A part-time employee who has worked 25,875 hours but less than 43,125 hours shall received ten percent (10%) of her gross applicable earnings in a calendar year. A part-time employee who has worked 43,125 hours or more shall receive twelve percent (12%) of her gross applicable earnings in a calendar year. Part-time employees will be granted time off for vacation purposes at the discretion of the employee’s Department Head and will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time.

Effective May 1, 2006, an employee who has completed 21.450 hours of continuous service but less than 36,300 hours of continuous service as of April 30 shall receive 10% of earnings; Effective May 1, 2006, an employee who has completed 36,300 hours of continuous service or more as of April 30 shall receive 12% of earnings. Effective May 1, 2008, an employee who has completed 46,200 hours of continuous service or more as of April 30 shall receive 14% of earnings.

  • Sick Leave While on Vacation An employee who while on vacation is incapacitated for one (1) or more days due to personal illness or injury may charge such days to accrued sick leave. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.

Vacation pay for such employees will be six percent (6%) of gross earnings for the vacation year. Employees with eight (8) years of service on or before June 30th of the current year shall receive four (4) weeks vacation. Vacation pay for such employees will be eight percent (8%) of gross earnings for the vacation year. Employees with fifteen (15) years of service on or before June 30th of the current year shall receive five (5) weeks vacation. Vacation pay for such employees shall be ten percent (10%) of gross earnings for the vacation year. Employees with twenty-five (25) years of service on or before June 30th of the current year shall receive six (6) weeks vacation. Vacation pay for such employees will be twelve percent (12%) of gross earnings for the vacation year. For employees who are regularly scheduled to work seventy-five (75) hours vacation pay is to be paid as a percentage of total earnings or regular pay whichever is greater. Employees who have lost their seniority and have terminated their employment as set out in Article herein, between vacation periods, shall on termination of employment be paid a vacation with pay allowance based on the amount of vacation pay to which such employee shall be entitled from the last cut off date prior to the date of termination. Such allowance shall be paid no later than the next regular payroll date. The Employer may pay vacation pay as part of the regular pay. such circumstances, the Employer undertakes that the rate of income tax on the vacation pay will not change unless the vacation pay changes the employee’s annual tax bracket.

  • Vacation During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • Vacation Buy Back Employees shall have the option of requesting pay in lieu of time off up to a maximum of 144 hours of vacation time each year, during each year of the contract in increments of eight (8) hrs.
