Varied Hours. ‌ (a) In order to operate and maintain certain University facilities, the scheduled work- week may be varied to include Saturday, Sunday and other than normal day hours on a 5 consecutive day work schedule within 7 calendar days. Where varied hours are worked, employees are entitled to 2 consecutive days off. Such schedule or schedules will be on a rotational basis except where classifications prohibit rotation or where employees volunteer for such schedule. (b) Where a department or unit intends to introduce varied hours, notice will be served in accordance with Article 30. 01. Where an existing employee is unable to work varied hours due to a medical or equity reason the provisions of Articles 18.10 and 30.03(b) will apply. (c) Where such varied schedules are necessary, working hours will fall within the following periods and will include a 1 hour meal break. Days: Any work period consistent with Section A above from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Afternoons: Any work period consistent with Section A above from 2:00 pm to 1:00 am. Nights: Any work period consistent with Section A above from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am. (d) Where varied hours are worked, shift schedules will be posted 15 working days in advance. (e) The provisions of Articles 18.01 (b), 18.02 and 18.03 apply to varied hours.

Varied HoursAlternate work hours will be determined and agreed to by the employee, exempt supervisor and Union. The parties will give timely consideration to all requests. Each request will be given bona fide consideration. Where one party denies approval, they shall provide the other party with written reasons. These hours will allow scheduling options for both the employee and Employer, taking into consideration unique employee circumstances while maintaining core business hours to support corporate goals and priorities while meeting departmental needs.

  • Monday through Friday We ask for your patience during busy periods since you may experience a higher than usual rate of busy signals and longer hold times to speak to us. We look forward to serving you.

  • Weekdays All work performed outside of the designated shift Monday through Friday shall be paid at time and one-half (1-1/2) the straight-time hourly wage rate.

  • Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must conform with the following guidelines: (a) Four (4) hour shifts will be the minimum shift permitted in any one (1) day. (b) Shifts of 4, 6 or 8 hours may be assigned, subject to the provisions of Article 9.05.

  • Service Hours The services shall be provided during the working hours and days as defined by the Contractor.

  • Minimum Hours All employees shall be paid their regular hourly rate for each hour worked except where employed for less than four (4) consecutive hours per day, in which event they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay. An employee who is called for work and upon reporting finds that his or her services are not required shall receive two (2) hours pay.
