Veteran’s Day. Thanksgiving Day
Veteran’s Day. Thanksgiving Day - the Thursday proclaimed by the President and the following Friday.
Veteran’s Day. November 11
Veteran’s Day. The employee work year shall include ten (10) nonstudent days, four (4) of which shall occur immediately prior to the student school year and two (2) immediately after completion of the student school year.
Veteran’s Day. On the federal holiday designated as Veterans Day, employees who wish to observe the holiday will schedule this day off one week in advance. Employees with no available ETO or vacation or employees who have accrued vacation and choose to do so may schedule the day off without pay. Observance of this holiday will not be considered an absence.
Veteran’s Day. Columbus Day (To be taken on Nov. 10th when Veterans’ Day falls on a Tuesday or on Nov. 12th when Veterans’ Day falls on a Thursday)

Veteran’s Day. Effective November 11, 2014, (and every November 11, thereafter) the County’s offices/operations will generally be closed (subject to customary and/or exigent circumstances requiring some to remain open) and that day be designated as a paid, assigned holiday. Both parties recognize that for such closure and designation to occur, it is necessary that agreement to do so must first be reached within the context of ongoing and/or immediately upcoming collective bargaining with the other employee organizations recognized by the County to represent its employees. The County agrees to pursue this issue with those other organizations within the context of collective bargaining so as to cause this observances and designation to occur on November 11, 2014, provided however, both parties recognize and agree that should agreement with all other organizations not be timely reached, then the effective date of implementation will be the first Veterans Day following agreement by all. Sec. 1304 HOLIDAY PAY:
Veteran’s Day. Veterans Day cannot be observed as a paid holiday because class is in session.
a. The District shall encourage recognition of the day by staff and students for the Veterans that have served the United States of America.
b. Any Wentzville School District support staff employees who are active in, or who have been honorably discharged from, the United States Military are welcome to attend the District’s Veteran’s Day celebrations. Drivers/Aides may clock out and attend a celebration at the building of their final route destination; the Driver/Aide will clock back in to return the bus to the Transportation lot. Any employee who wishes to participate in Veteran’s Day celebrations must provide proof of United States Military service to Human Resources and provide prior notification to administration at the building at which they plan to attend.
