Welfare to Work. The Subrecipient is encouraged to hire welfare recipients and to provide additional needed training and mentoring as needed.
Welfare to Work. In the event, the Welfare Reform Act is implemented during term of this Master Agreement, the parties shall immediately meet to exchange information, discuss and negotiate any issues to the extent required and/or allowed by applicable laws, orders and Regulations as a result of this legislation.

Welfare to Work. (WTW): A mandated program under the CalWORKs Act which requires parents or caretakers in families on welfare, unless exempted, to meet work requirements by participating in WTW activities with a goal of unsubsidized employment leading to self-sufficiency.
Welfare to Work. . 1. Welfare recipients and participants in welfare to work initiatives will not displace or replace regular employees. For example, if there are ten (10) Clerks and five (5) welfare recipients and participants in welfare to work initiatives, and two (2) Clerks retire, the · Employer will not replace the two (2) regular vacant positions with two (2) additional welfare recipients and participants in welfare to work initiatives raising their number to seven (7). This policy, however does not require the Employer to fill vacancies which they desire to keep vacant.
