Widening participation and outreach programme. 4.2.1 The 2015-16 outreach programme will address the strategic priorities described in section 4. 1.1. Examples of targeted long-term work are: (i) We are the lead education partner in St Paul’s Way, which is Tower Hamlets’ first Foundation Trust School. Senior members of staff from the College chair the Trust Board and the Governing Body, and the College supports the school through a balanced programme of short and long-term initiatives. As an example of a long-term initiative to support the school, Xxxxx Xxxx and St Paul’s Way were partners in a bid to the Wellcome Trust for funding for the Authentic Biology project. Authentic Biology is a project that allows sixth-form students in five schools across the country to become biomedical researchers. These students learn sophisticated techniques for analysing and manipulating DNA and protein, and apply these skills to novel research projects that will make a positive contribution to scientific knowledge. The schools work closely with their local university bioscience/medical department and the projects provide CPD opportunities for all staff involved, teachers and academics. There is an annual research symposium (held at Xxxxx Xxxx) where students have the opportunity to share their work on posters and as oral presentations. We also support sixth-form teaching through a Teacher Fellowship scheme that links individual sixth-form teachers at St Paul’s Way to academic staff at Xxxxx Xxxx, and supports the professional development of the teachers by partnering them with academics who are working in their field of interest. (ii) In 2015-16 the College will continue to work with the Drapers’ Company as co-sponsor of the Drapers’ Academy school in Havering. Our support includes the provision of three governors, the involvement of academic staff and support for the development of the new sixth form established in September 2012. One of the strengths of this long-term partnership is that we can work with younger students year-on-year to support them in making the correct choices at key stages in their progression. The 2015-16 Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) programme will deliver a range of age-appropriate sessions to students from Years 7-11, and each session will build on the previous one in the following way: Year 7 Introduction to University Year 8 Discovering University Year 9 Getting to University and Finance Workshops Year 10 Choices for Higher Education and Budgeting Sessions Year 11 Choices for Year ...

Examples of our longer term targeted work are: (i) We will continue to work closely with St Paul’s Way Trust School and the Drapers’ Academy, offering an intensive programme of outreach support to students studying secondary and post-16 education in both schools. We will also continue to support teachers at both schools. (ii) We have developed a programme of intensive support for primary-age children. This currently includes the delivery of a Primary Coding Club and Reading Challenge. We have prioritised our primary school work to benefit our long-term partner schools. The formation of the Drapers’ Multi-Academy Trust (which includes primary schools) and the development of St Paul’s Way into an all-through-school from Reception to Year 13 has allowed us to do this more effectively. (iii) We have developed, and continue to deliver, long-term projects such as Bridge the Gap, an access to medicine and dentistry programme. This work is focused on targeted secondary schools and colleges and their feeder primary schools, and aims to raise aspirations and awareness of medicine and dentistry as career pathways among students from groups that are significantly under-represented within the profession. It offers age- appropriate interventions at three stages – stage 1: Year 6, stage 2: Year 8- 9, and stage 3: Years 10-13. The programme works with experienced external partners such as the Brightside Trust, who provide support for the e-mentoring strand of the programme. In addition, support is offered to parents and carers and teachers through online resources and an insight event held at the university. This events provide parents and carers with information on how they can support their children in pursuing medicine or dentistry, and give them an opportunity to take part in some medicine and dentistry taster activities. All students who have completed the Bridge the Gap programme, and who meet QMUL’s minimum entry requirements, will be guaranteed an interview for a place on the undergraduate dentistry or medicine course.

  • Development Program RWJPRI shall be [**] and have [**] in consultation with the JDAC, to select LICENSED COMPOUNDS which shall then be designated PRODUCTS for further DEVELOPMENT by RWJPRI and marketing by ORTHO and its AFFILIATES. RWJPRI shall provide KOSAN with written notice of its decision to select a LICENSED COMPOUND for DEVELOPMENT. Once a PRODUCT has been selected for further DEVELOPMENT, RWJPRI, with the advice of the JDAC, shall have the [**] right to develop the PRODUCT through STAGES O, I, II and III and shall have the [**] right to prepare and file, and shall be the owner of, all applications for MARKETING AUTHORIZATION throughout the world. During such DEVELOPMENT efforts, KOSAN will assist RWJPRI as may be mutually agreed, at RWJPRI's expense, in chemical development, formulation development, production of labeled material and production of sufficient quantities of material for STAGE O and initial STAGE I studies. RWJPRI shall exercise diligent efforts, commensurate with the efforts it would normally exercise for products with similar potential sales volume and consistent with its overall business strategy, in developing such PRODUCT in accordance with the DEVELOPMENT PLAN established by RWJPRI. In the course of such efforts RWJPRI shall, either directly or through an AFFILIATE or SUBLICENSEE to which the license shall have been extended, take appropriate steps including the following: (i) in consultation with the JDAC, select certain LICENSED COMPOUNDS for STAGE O DEVELOPMENT; and (ii) establish and maintain a program reasonably designed, funded and resourced to obtain information adequate to enable the preparation and filing with an appropriate and properly empowered national regulatory authority all necessary documentation, data and [**] CERTAIN INFORMATION IN THIS EXHIBIT HAS BEEN OMITTED AND FILED SEPARATELY WITH THE COMMISSION. CONFIDENTIAL TREATMENT HAS BEEN REQUESTED WITH RESPECT TO THE OMITTED PORTIONS. other evidence required for IND non-rejection to commence and conduct human clinical trials of such PRODUCT. (iii) proceed following IND non-rejection to commence PHASE I, II, and III clinical trials, associated studies and such other work which RWJPRI reasonably deems to be required for subsequent inclusion in filings for MARKETING AUTHORIZATION; (iv) after such submissions are filed prosecute such submissions and file all reasonably necessary, reports and respond to all reasonable requests from the pertinent regulatory, authorities for information, data, samples, tests and the like.

  • Development and Commercialization Subject to Sections 4.6 and 4.7, Fibrocell shall be solely responsible for the development and Commercialization of Fibrocell Products and Improved Products. Fibrocell shall be responsible for all costs incurred in connection with the Fibroblast Program except that Intrexon shall be responsible for the following: (a) costs of establishing manufacturing capabilities and facilities in connection with Intrexon’s manufacturing obligation under Section 4.6 (provided, however, that Intrexon may include an allocable portion of such costs, through depreciation and amortization, when calculating the Fully Loaded Cost of manufacturing a Fibrocell Product, to the extent such allocation, depreciation, and amortization is permitted by US GAAP, it being recognized that the majority of non-facilities scale-up costs cannot be capitalized and amortized under US GAAP); (b) costs of basic research with respect to the Intrexon Channel Technology and Intrexon Materials (i.e., platform improvements) but, for clarity, excluding research described in Section 4.7 or research requested by the JSC for the development of a Fibrocell Product or an Improved Product (which research costs shall be reimbursed by Fibrocell); (c) [*****]; and (d) costs of filing, prosecution and maintenance of Intrexon Patents. The costs encompassed within subsection (a) above shall include the scale-up of Intrexon Materials and related active pharmaceutical ingredients for clinical trials and Commercialization of Fibrocell Products undertaken pursuant to Section 4.6, which shall be at Intrexon’s cost whether it elects to conduct such efforts internally or through Third Party contractors retained by either Intrexon or Fibrocell (with Intrexon’s consent).

  • Commercialization Intrexon shall have the right to develop and Commercialize the Reverted Products itself or with one or more Third Parties, and shall have the right, without obligation to Fibrocell, to take any such actions in connection with such activities as Intrexon (or its designee), at its discretion, deems appropriate.

  • Information Systems Acquisition Development and Maintenance a. Client Data – Client Data will only be used by State Street for the purposes specified in this Agreement.

  • Program Participation By participating in the CRF Program, Grantee agrees to: a. Not increase any Eligible Household’s rent through January 2021; b. Waive all costs, fees and charges incurred by Eligible Households as a result of non- payment or partial payment of rent during the impacted months; c. Not consider non-payment or partial payment by Eligible Households during impacted months when considering renewal of an Eligible Household’s lease, or, share this information with other rental properties, credit bureaus and tenant screening companies; d. Not initiate new Eligible Household evictions for non-payment of rent and must suspend all pending evictions of Eligible Households for nonpayment of rent for the duration of the rental payment assistance; e. Not issue a notice to vacate to Eligible Households for nonpayment of rent until the end of the Eviction Relief Period; and f. Not require Eligible Households to vacate the unit until 30 days after such notice.

  • Development Activities The Development activities referred to in item “b” of paragraph 3.1 include: studies and projects of implementation of the Production facilities; drilling and completion of the Producing and injection xxxxx; and installation of equipment and vessels for extraction, collection, Treatment, storage, and transfer of Oil and Gas. The installation referred to in item “c” includes, but is not limited to, offshore platforms, pipelines, Oil and Gas Treatment plants, equipment and facilities for measurement of the inspected Production, wellhead equipment, production pipes, flow lines, tanks, and other facilities exclusively intended for extraction, as well as oil and gas pipelines for Production Outflow and their respective compressor and pumping stations.

  • Outreach Activities a. The Agency shall conduct outreach activities for potential Clients to promote the availability of services. b. The Agency shall have an outreach plan and shall provide evidence of such arrangements to the Recipient upon request.

  • Career Development The City and the Union agree that employee career growth can be beneficial to both the City and the affected employee. As such, consistent with training needs identified by the City and the financial resources appropriated therefore by the City, the City shall provide educational and training opportunities for employee career growth. Each employee shall be responsible for utilizing those training and educational opportunities made available by the City or other institutions for the self- development effort needed to achieve personal career goals.

  • Member Access to Vendor Proposal Notwithstanding any other information provided in this solicitation or Vendor designation of certain documentation as confidential or proprietary, Vendor’s acceptance of this TIPS Contract constitutes Vendor’s consent to the disclosure of Vendor’s comprehensive proposal, including any information deemed confidential or proprietary, to TIPS Members. The proposing Vendor agrees that TIPS shall not be responsible or liable for any use or distribution of information or documentation by TIPS Members or any other party. By submitting this proposal, Vendor certifies the foregoing.
