Rest Interval. An employee required to work overtime beyond her regularly scheduled shift shall be entitled to eight (8) clear hours between the end of the overtime worked and the start of her next regular shift. If eight (8) clear hours are not provided, overtime rates shall apply to all hours worked on the regular shift which fall within the eight (8) hour period.

If it is not possible to provide eight (8) clear hours off between the overtime shift and the employee's next regularly scheduled shift, then the employee shall not be required to report to work until there are eight (8) clear hours between the end of the overtime shift and the beginning of the next regular shift. In such cases, the Employer agrees to pay the employee, at straight-time rates, as if the employee had reported to work for the regularly scheduled shift.
Rest Interval. An employee shall be entitled to ten (10) clear hours between the end of one shift and the start of the next shift. If ten (10) clear hours are not provided, overtime rates shall apply to all hours worked on the next shift.

Rest Interval. (a) An employee required to work overtime beyond their regularly scheduled shift shall be entitled to 7 hours and 45 minutes clear between the end of the overtime work and the start of their next regular shift. If 7 hours and 45 minutes clear are not provided, overtime rates shall apply to hours worked on the first regular shift.
(b) In the event that the next regular shift referred to in (a) above falls on a designated holiday listed in Clause 17.01, then in addition to the compensation for the designated holiday, the employee will be paid an additional one half time payment for the first two hours worked on the regular shift; single time payment for all hours worked on the regular shift in excess of the first two hours.

(a) An employee required to work overtime beyond their regularly scheduled shift shall be entitled to seven (7) hours and forty-five (45) minutes clear between the end of the overtime work and the start of their next regular shift. If seven (7) hours and forty-five (45) minutes clear are not provided, overtime rates shall apply to hours worked on the first regular shift.
(b) In the event that the next regular shift referred to in (a) above falls on a designated holiday listed in Clause 18.01 (Designated Paid Holidays), then in addition to the compensation for the designated holiday, the employee will be paid an additional one half (1/2) time payment for the first two (2) hours worked on the regular shift; single time payment for all hours worked on the regular shift in excess of the first two (2) hours.
Rest Interval. (a) Employees shall be entitled to a 10-minute rest interval in each 4 hours worked or part thereof being greater than one hour.
(b) Rest intervals may be taken as one 20-minute interval by agreement.
(c) Rest intervals will count as time worked.

Employees Bands 1 to 5 (Physical/Community Services) Only Every employee (other than a part-time or casual employee who is subject to the undermentioned proviso), will be allowed without deduction of pay, a break of twenty minutes per day to be taken during the first part of his/her working day. Provided that by agreement between the employer and employee or employees, the break may be taken at another time or other times, but in not more than two separate periods. Provided further that where a part-time or casual employee works before a recognised tea break and continues to work after such break, then that employee shall be entitled to such tea break.
Rest Interval. If it is not possible to provide eight clear hours off between the overtime shift and the employee's next regularly scheduled shift, then the employee shall not be required to report to work until there are eight clear hours between the end of the overtime shift and the beginning of the next regular shift. In such cases, the Employer agrees to pay the employee, at straight-time rates, as if the employee had reported to work for the regularly scheduled shift.
(b) Despite (a) above, if it is operationally necessary for an employee to report to work within the eight-hour period, then overtime rates shall apply to all hours worked on the shift that starts within that period.
