Transfer of Seniority. The affected employer(s) and affected union(s) shall meet to determine any provisions for a transfer of seniority between bargaining units.

This means that service credits for the purposes of placement on the grid, vacation entitlement and any other service-based benefit will be adjusted, but no retroactive money, vacation days, or service-based benefit will be owing. Transfer of Seniority. Seniority is only applied within a store except in the case of store closure where Full-Time employees shall be able to exercise their seniority in other Fresh St. Market stores of the Employer or if employees are transferred to staff a new store at opening.

In the event that a Nurse who transfers seniority as per Article 11.00(c) has the same Seniority date as a current Bargaining Unit member(s), the Nurse who transfers shall be placed on the Seniority list below the other pre-established Bargaining Unit member(s) with the same seniority date.

If an employee has been approved for transfer to a location within the jurisdiction of a different Local Union he shall maintain his years of service with the company for the purpose of any wage and benefit provisions/progressions. Transfer of Seniority. Employees who terminate from one Employer and who are rehired or continue employment with another Employer may transfer their seniority under the terms of Article 20. Such Employees shall have access to their life to date seniority and their year to date seniority (up to the cutoff date of the last Seniority List) for all purposes, including but not limited to vacation, call-in, job postings, lay-offs within two (2) calendar weeks of the Employer receiving their request for transfer. Thereafter, their seniority will be established pursuant to Article 9.
