Additional Duty. A necessary task outside the regular classroom teaching responsibility, such as, but not limited to bus, hall, assemblies, cafeteria, etc.
Additional Duty. Certificated employees will be expected to carry a reasonable and equitable amount of extra duty and to bear their share of class sponsorships, noon hour duty, bus unloading and loading supervision, and/or other supervisory activities.
Additional Duty. A. Additional duties are not duties such as lesson planning, class organization, record keeping, examining papers connected with classroom instruction, or planning and organization of extra classroom activities.
B. Additional duties must require time outside regular school hours to receive additional pay.
C. The assignment of additional duties is at the discretion of the Board of Education.
D. Additional duty assignments shall be compensated at thirty dollars ($30) per hour.
E. Additional duty assignments may be made at any time during the year as the need arises.
F. Acceptance of additional duty assignments by teachers shall be voluntary.
Additional Duty. If an Artist is contracted to understudy a role as an additional duty, the Artist must receive an additional minimum weekly fee at least as specified below over the minimum weekly fee. Minimum Fee $166.01
Additional Duty. Each additional duty other than performing must be specifically negotiated before the original COA Engagement Contract is signed and must be included in a rider to the COA Engagement Contract.
Additional Duty. If the Stage Manager, at the request of the Engager, agrees to schedule and/or have responsibility for set-ups, strikes, take-ins and take-outs as required by the Engager, it shall be considered an additional duty in accordance with Clause 13:05 for the term of the Stage Manager's Opera Agreement Engagement Contract.

Additional Duty. Except as provided in the subsections A – J of this Section, when an employee is assigned by a Supervisor to perform duties in addition to those that fall within the employee’s job description, the employee shall receive a salary increase of up to ten percent (10%) during the pay period that the employee is actually performing the additional duties on an hour by hour basis. The actual amount of the salary increase shall be based upon the quantity and quality of the additional duties being performed, as determined in the sole discretion of the City Manager. Pay under this category is not considered special compensation and is therefore not PERSable.
Additional Duty. (Extra Duty) - The District and the Association agree that the following process will be followed when establishing an extra duty assignment. No faculty member/s working on a stipend or reassigned basis shall assume supervisory responsibilities for other personnel.
25.1.1 When the District determines the need for an extra duty assignment, GCFA will be notified of the scope of and compensation for the assignment.
25.1.2 It shall be the joint responsibility of the District and the Association to notify faculty of the availability of an assignment and the opportunity to apply. An application time-line will be stipulated.
25.1.3 Interested faculty must apply in writing to the designated supervising administrator within the stipulated time-line.
25.1.4 The supervising administrator shall select a faculty member from the applicants and notify the Association of the selection.
25.1.5 Monetary compensation shall be paid as a stipend and shall be a flat sum amount. Unless otherwise stated, stipends shall be paid in two (2) installments in December and May.
25.1.5.1 Unless already specified in the Contract as a listed dollar amount, the monetary compensation shall be established by the Administration.
Additional Duty. All additional duty opportunities shall be posted. Such additional duty shall be allocated at the discretion of the fire chief to all employees with the condition that such duty shall be divided as equally as possible. For employees covered by this agreement, such duty shall be on a voluntary basis and to the extent possible, a reasonable effort shall be made to give the employees priority opportunity for any such duty. Additional duty shall include work other than regular shifts, extra station duty, specialty overtime (i.e. training, fire investigations, severe weather staffing, etc.), recalls for emergencies and assigned drills and meetings. Additional duty will also include a duty or position that does not currently exist and will be bargained for prior to being implemented.
