MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT #2 OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY Occupational Health and Safety Structure for Employer and Union The parties commit to structure Health and Safety Committees that meet the training requirements of WorkSafe BC. The parties agree to assist the respective OH&S Committees to structure emergency protocols for each facility. Such protocols, once established shall be made known to all employees and posted on the union bulletin boards. The Employer shall provide mobile "panic buttons" to employees who work front desk overnight shifts and who leave stationary "panic buttons" as part of their normal duties. The parties agree to assist the OH&S Committees in developing a critical incident debrief protocol. The OH&S Committees, as part of their emergency protocol, shall incorporate an emergency communications process. The OH&S Committees shall develop a procedure for personal safety for those employees assigned to transport night deposits. MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT 2 Re: Group RRSP The Employer will establish a voluntary Group RRSP Plan to assist with retention and provide assistance for the future retirement of the employees. The Employer will contribute to the Group RRSP on a basis that matches an employee's contribution on the following basis: Completed Years of Service Employer Matching Rate 1 year but less than 7 years 1% of pay (not including gratuities) 7 years or more 2% of pay (not including gratuities) Employees may at their own discretion make additional voluntary unmatched contributions to the Group RRSP Plan. Employer contributions are vested immediately. Thereafter, once per calendar year, no later than March 1st, employees will inform the Employer of the level of contribution they wish to contribute for the period April 1st to March 31st.
