ANNUAL PAID LEAVE. 3 A. Effective the pay period that includes January 1, 2017, Full-time Nurses and 4 Part-Time Benefited Nurses will earn and may use Annual Paid Leave (APL) in accordance with 5 Legacy policy applicable to similarly-situated non-bargaining unit employees (Note: this refers to 6 the APL Policy in effect as of the date of ratification of this Agreement).

ANNUAL PAID LEAVE. 3 Full-time Nurses and Part-time Benefited Nurses will earn and may use Annual Paid Leave (APL) 4 in accordance with Legacy policy applicable to similarly-situated non-bargaining unit employees. 6 The APL accrual rates in effect as of the start of this Agreement are as follows:
ANNUAL PAID LEAVE. 9.1 Annual Paid Leave shall be accrued by eligible employees in lieu of vacation, holidays and sick leave. The intent of this benefit is to allow each employee to utilize APL as that individual determines it best fits their own personal needs.
9.2 Regular full-time and part-time employees shall be eligible for APL. A probationary employee shall accrue APL during their probationary period. APL may be used as soon as it is accrued.
9.3 Employees covered by this contract shall receive paid time from work as provided and administered under the policy entitled APL Program (LHS 500.304).*

9.4 Employees required to work on the following designated holidays will be compensated one and one-half (1-1/2) times their regular rate of pay. In addition, employees may elect to access APL to be paid regular straight time holiday pay, whether or not they are also working on the holiday. New Year’s Day Independence Day Thanksgiving Day Memorial Day Labor Day Christmas Day
9.5 The Hospital will honor employees’ requests to use APL on religious holidays or other specific recognition days, such as Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day to the extent possible with consideration to scheduling and patient care needs.
ANNUAL PAID LEAVE. 20 A. Full-time Nurses and Part-Time Nurses will earn and may use Annual Paid 22 bargaining unit employees.

30 A. Effective the pay period that includes January 1, 2017, Full-time Nurses and 31 Part-Time Nurses will earn and may use Annual Paid Leave (APL) in accordance with Legacy 1 Nurses with MSN are not eligible for BSN differential. 1 policy applicable to similarly-situated non-bargaining unit employees unless otherwise noted in this 2 Agreement (Note: this refers to the APL Policy in effect as of the date of ratification of this 3 Agreement).

Effective the pay period that includes January 1, 2017, Full-time Nurses and 31 Part-Time Nurses will earn and may use Annual Paid Leave (APL) in accordance with Legacy 32 policy applicable to similarly-situated non-bargaining unit employees unless otherwise noted in this 33 Agreement (Note: this refers to the APL Policy in effect as of the date of ratification of this 34 Agreement).

ANNUAL PAID LEAVE. (i) The Employee shall be entitled to 24 days annual paid leave.
(ii) The Employee shall be entitled to accumulate up to 48 days of annual leave (the “Maximum Amount”), any accumulation of annual leave days in excess of the Maximum amount requires the specific consent of the Company and the Company, at its discretion, may pay the Employee the equivalent of the accumulated leave days.

5 A. Full time Nurses and Part Time Nurses will earn Annual Paid Leave (APL) 6 with pay according to the following schedule:

Hire date to five (5) years of credited service: .0962 per straight-time hour 9 of compensation to a maximum of eighty (80) hours per fourteen (14)-day pay period (or 10 two (2) consecutive forty (40)-hour workweeks of seven (7)-day pay periods). 11 Employees working 12-hour shifts shall accrue .107 per straight time hour of 12 compensation to a maximum of seventy-two (72) hours per 14-day pay period.
14 2. After five (5) years to ten (10) years of credited service: .1154 per straight- 15 time hour of compensation to a maximum of eighty (80) hours per fourteen (14)-day pay 16 period (or two consecutive forty (40)-hour workweeks of seven (7)-day pay periods).
