Association Day. The third Wednesday of every month shall be designated as an Association Day. During this day, no District or site meetings involving bargaining unit members shall be scheduled.

Association Day. Wednesdays shall be recognized as Association meeting days. No Gilroy Unified School District meetings, other than Board Meetings, Back-to-School Nights, Open House and Instructional Leadership Academy meetings shall be scheduled on the second or third Wednesday of the month except in an emergency.

  • Association Days The Association shall be provided a total of twenty-two (22) days during the school year of released time to conduct Association business with a maximum of seven (7) used on any given day. Requests for Association days shall be made in writing and, when at all possible, at least three (3) days prior to such leave and shall be submitted to the Superintendent or his/her designee. The Association shall assume any expense incurred by the hiring of a substitute teacher.

  • Association Dues 5.01 In every pay period, the Board shall deduct from every pay of each Occasional Teacher the appropriate amount of dues as authorized by the Constitution of the Association and directed by its Executive.

  • Association Access The Association shall provide and maintain with the County's Labor Relations Division a current list of the names of all authorized representatives of the Association. An authorized representative shall have the right to contact an individual employee represented by the Association in a County facility during the employee's work hours on matters concerning wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment. Such a representative shall make arrangements with the County official responsible for the operation of the County facility prior to entering the work location of the employee. The Association official shall have the right to make arrangements for a contact location removed from the work area of the employee.

  • Association Dues Deduction ‌ When the Association provides written authorization to the Employer for deduction of membership dues, the Employer will deduct from the employee’s salary, an amount equal to the dues required to be a member of the Association, depending on their permanent or non-permanent dues rate. The Agency will provide payments for all said deductions to the Association each pay period.

  • Association Establishment and all other expenses of the Association and also similar expenses of the Maintenance In-charge looking after the common purposes, until handing over the same to the Association.

  • Association Leave The Association shall be allowed to use up to 5 days of leave each school year for use by teachers who are officers or agents of the Association. The Association shall reimburse Unified School District 434 for the loss of use of the teacher taking such leave by paying the daily cost of a substitute teacher.   • Association Leaves 1. The Board will provide the Association President or their designee with forty (40) days of paid release time during the course of the school year in order to conduct Association Business. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the cost of any substitute required as the result of any such released time which exceeds forty (40) days during the course of the school year.

  • Association Grievance A grievance, as defined in Section 7.1, relating to occurrences actually involving at least three (3) nurses or arising under the Association Business article, may be initiated by the Association at Step 2 of the above-mentioned procedure by the filing of a written grievance, signed by a representative of the Association, within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of occurrence. Such grievance shall describe the problem and the contract provisions alleged to have been violated.
