In keeping with that commitment, this Agreement contains measures and entitlements to achieve that balance, including those listed in clauses 6.3 – 6.14.

BALANCING WORK AND PERSONAL LIFE. Principles The department, within the confines of its operational requirements, is committed to providing employees the flexibility to balance both personal and professional commitments and to plan and manage individual workloads to maximise productivity and balance work and personal commitments. The department and its employees recognise the benefits that flex-time, flexible working hours, regular part-time work, shift work and job sharing provide individuals and the work area to meet both work and personal commitments. Underlying this Agreement is the recognition by the department and its employees that the notion of the workplace and of working arrangements goes beyond the traditional office environment and extends to work undertaken in the field and in the home. The department recognises that for the period nursing mothers are feeding their infants, their manager should be mindful of their particular short-term needs. When seeking to change existing working arrangements, the department will consult with employees and, where they choose, their representatives. Mature Age Employees It is acknowledged that with the continued ageing of the Australian workforce, management and work practices should be geared to optimise the contribution of skilled and experienced workers and to encourage those who are making a valuable contribution to stay longer in the workforce. Strategies to achieve this may include: more flexible working arrangements, such as part-time work and phased retirement;

  • Sick and Personal Leave The Assistant Principal shall annually be entitled to twelve (12) days of sick leave and two (2) days of personal leave. Unused personal leave days will accumulate as sick leave days. Earned sick leave may accumulate to a maximum of 340 days. Every sick day that is issued for the current school year and eventually not utilized during that school year will be multiplied by 1.5 at the end of the school year (e.g., 10 unused sick days on June 30, 2022 will be converted in a credit of 15 sick days for the Assistant Principal’s use.) This unused sick day multiplier will not be in effect during the four (4) years prior to retirement.

  • Fixtures and Personal Property All machinery, equipment, fixtures (including, but not limited to all heating, air conditioning, plumbing, lighting, communications and elevator fixtures) and other property of every kind and nature whatsoever owned by Borrower, or in which Borrower has or shall have an interest, now or hereafter located upon the Land or the Improvements, or appurtenant thereto, and used in connection with the present or future operation and occupancy of the Land and the Improvements and all building equipment, materials and supplies of any nature whatsoever owned by Borrower, or in which Borrower has or shall have an interest, now or hereafter located upon the Land and the Improvements, or appurtenant thereto, or used in connection with the present or future operation and occupancy of the Land and the Improvements (collectively, the "Personal Property"), and the right, title and interest of Borrower in and to any of the Personal Property which may be subject to any security interests, as defined in the Uniform Commercial Code, as adopted and enacted by the state or states where any of the Property is located (the "Uniform Commercial Code"), superior in lien to the lien of this Security Instrument and all proceeds and products of the above;

  • Sick Leave and Personal Leave The Administrator shall be granted paid sick leave, as defined in Section 24-6 of The School Code, of twelve (12) workdays per contract year accumulative to three hundred forty (340) days. The Administrator shall be granted three (3) paid personal leave days per contract year for personal business. Unused personal leave days shall be credited towards the Administrator’s accumulated sick leave.

  • Real and Personal Property The Company has good and marketable title to, or has valid rights to lease or otherwise use, all items of real and personal property that are material to the business of the Company free and clear of all liens, encumbrances, claims and defects and imperfections of title except those that (i) do not materially interfere with the use of such property by the Company or (ii) would not reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.

  • Leasing of Real and Personal Property ‌ The Government contemplates that leases may be part of a task order solution offered by a Contractor, but the Government, where the Contractor’s solution includes leasing, must not be the Lessee. Under no circumstances on any task order awarded under XXXXX shall the Government be deemed to have privity-of-contract with the Owner/Lessor of the Leased Items; or, the Government be held liable for early Termination/Cancellation damages if the Government decides not to exercise an option period under a task order unless the Contractor has specifically disclosed the amount of such damages (or the formula by which such damages would be calculated) as part of its proposal and the OCO for the task order has specifically approved/allowed such damages as part of the task order terms and conditions.

  • Paid Personal Leave A.   • Extended Personal Leave Personal leave without pay not to exceed thirty (30) 26 days may be granted at the discretion of the Superintendent. Personal leave in 27 excess of thirty (30) days shall be subject to approval by the Board.

  • Unpaid Personal Leave Where an employee has exhausted all paid personal leave entitlements, they are entitled to take unpaid personal leave to care for members of their immediate family or household who are sick and require care and support or who require care due to an unexpected emergency. The employer and the employee shall agree on the period. In the absence of agreement, the employee is entitled to take up to two days (up to a maximum of 16 hours) of unpaid leave per occasion, provided the requirements of 7.2.5(a) and 7.2.5(b) are met.

  • EMPLOYMENT AND PERSONNEL The Provider shall not engage any person in the employ of any State Department or Agency in a position that would constitute a violation of 0 XXXX § 00 xx 00 XXXX § 0000. The Contractor shall not engage on a full-time, part-time or other basis during the period of this Agreement, any other personnel who are or have been at any time during the period of this Agreement in the employ of any State Department or Agency, except regularly retired employees, without the written consent of the State Purchases Review Committee. Further, the Provider shall not engage on this project on a full-time, part-time or other basis during the period of this Agreement any retired employee of the Department who has not been retired for at least one year, without the written consent of the State Purchases Review Committee. The Provider shall cause the foregoing provisions to be inserted in any subcontract for any work covered by this Agreement so that such provisions shall be binding upon each subcontractor, provided that the foregoing provisions shall not apply to contracts or subcontracts for standard commercial supplies or raw materials.
