Benefits on Leave. No combined employee benefits (sick leave, disability leave, workers’ compensation, or jury duty) will allow a teacher to gain in excess of 100% of existing daily rate of salary. If an employee is eligible to receive workers’ compensation, the District’s obligation to pay sick leave benefits shall be reduced by the amounts actually received from workers’ compensation benefits. 5.3.1 DEFINITIONS
Benefits on Leave. G-9.01 Subject to the rules and regulations of the Plan, employees may be eligible to maintain their Long Term Disability Insurance, Dental, Group Life Insurance and Extended Health Care coverage, while on leave of absence. Employees must pay the full benefit premium for any insurances they choose to maintain while on leave.

Benefits on Leave. The Employer's payments towards all group insurance benefits, including payments towards the Health Spending Account, will be suspended after the first thirty (30) calendar days of any leave of absence, except as specified in Article 15.06 and 15.
Benefits on Leave. Employees on pregnancy and/or parental leave shall be entitled to continue to maintain health benefits coverage pursuant to the provisions of the Employment Standards Act. Employees on any other leave of absence without pay who wish to maintain benefits while on such leave, in circumstances where the Employer is not obligated to maintain coverage, may do so if they agree to reimburse the Employer for the full cost of the benefits and provided that such continued coverage is permitted under the terms of the benefits plan.
Benefits on Leave. (a) A teacher granted leave under Articles 13.01, 13.02 and 13.03 above shall continue to receive those benefits which the teacher already enjoys. The Board shall continue to pay its share of the benefits up to the maximum of the statutory leave(s). Such teacher shall assume the total cost of these plans for any period of leave that exceeds the statutory leave(s). Such teacher will not accrue seniority or incremental experience for time taken in excess of the Statutory Leaves as defined in the Employment Standards Act.
(b) Teachers taking pregnancy leave in excess of that defined in Article XIII, article
Benefits on Leave. A full year of service credit on the salary schedule shall be granted to the teacher on leave, if the teacher has worked ninety (90) or more days in any year of the leave. Seniority, salary placement and other benefits shall not be affected by the leave; however, these benefits will not continue to accrue during the child rearing leave. This non- accrued time shall be marked on the seniority list with an asterisk to denote the period of time seniority did not accrue.

During any approved leave of absence, the Company shall continue to make payments on behalf of the Employee for all applicable group benefit plans for a maximum period of ninety (90) calendar days. The employee will be obligated to reimburse the Company for the premium costs of benefits after the first ninety (90) days. The employee must provide monthly post-dated cheques, for the amount equivalent to the monthly benefit premium owed by the employee, to the Company prior to his/her leave commencing.
Benefits on Leave. During any approved leave of absence, the Company shall continue to make payments on behalf of the Employee for all applicable group benefit plans for a maximum period of ninety (90) calendar days. The employee will be obligated to reimburse the Company for the premium costs of benefits after the first ninety (90) days. This reimbursement will be by way of payroll deduction upon the employee’s return to work. These deductions will be at a rate of twice the normal benefit premium deduction until the full amount owing is repaid. The employee will be given the option of providing monthly post-dated cheques, for the amount equivalent to the monthly benefit premium owed by the employee, to the Company prior to his leave commencing.
Benefits on Leave. Effective for absences beginning on or after April the Hospital will pay the employer portion of the benefit premiums while an employee is on sick leave, including the El period prior to the commencement of long term disability and to a maximum of thirty (30) months from the date the absence began.
