BREAK & MEAL PERIODS. Employees shall be entitled to take one (1) ten (10) minute rest break for each four (4) hours of work performed by such Employee in a workday. Authorized rest period time taken shall be counted as time worked. Lunch periods are uncompensated and should be taken away from the Employee's work station. Employees will be relieved of all work duties during the lunch period. Generally Employees will take a 30 minute lunch break. Employees may opt for a one hour lunch provided it is approved by their supervisor. Employees who are scheduled to work part-­‐time, for six (6) hours or less during the day, will have the option to waive their meal period, but must have approval to do so from their Supervisor. The waiver must be signed and filed with the Human Resource Department. The Employee's manager will be responsible for approving any changes in the scheduled lunch period. Employees will not be compensated for their meal breaks unless they are required to work during their breaks. For Employees that by nature of the work prevents them from being relieved of all duty, an “on dutypaid meal break is permitted.

BREAK & MEAL PERIODS. Employees shall be entitled to take one (I) ten (10) minute rest break for each four (4) hours of work performed by such employee in a work day. Such rest break shall be taken after two (2) hours of work, if possible. Unpaid and free of duty, lunch breaks shall be scheduled in one-half or one hour increments based on operational needs. In the event an employee is required to work through a scheduled meal break, the employee will be compensated in accordance with the State law. If the employee is required to eat with the children, meals will be provided by CFCS. Part-time employees scheduled to work six (6) or less consecutive hours during any work day will receive a meal break of not less than thirty (30) minutes. The meal break may be waived at the request of the employee and agreement of CFCS.
BREAK & MEAL PERIODS. (a) Scheduled work shift of five (5) hours or less, an employee shall be granted a fifteen (15) minute paid rest period to be taken as close as practicable to the midpoint of the scheduled work shift.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as closely as possible to the middle of the workday. The length of the meal period shall be not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than sixty (60) minutes.

  • Break Periods The parties agree that the paid rest period contemplated by Article 16(e) shall be taken during times that will not interfere with the operation of the Strong Start Centre.

  • Overtime-Eligible Unpaid Meal Periods ‌ The Employer and the Union agree to unpaid meal periods that vary from and supersede the unpaid meal period requirements of WAC 000-000-000. Unpaid meal periods for employees working more than five (5) consecutive hours, if entitled, will be a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and will be scheduled as close to the middle of the work shift as possible. Employees working three (3) or more hours longer than a normal workday will be allowed an additional thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period. When an employee’s unpaid meal period is interrupted by work duties, the employee will be allowed to resume their unpaid meal period following the interruption, if possible, to complete the unpaid meal period. In the event an employee is unable to complete the unpaid meal period due to operational necessity, the employee will be entitled to compensation, which will be computed based on the actual number of minutes worked within the unpaid meal period. Meal periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and meal and rest periods will not be combined.

  • Renewal Periods Renewal of registered names may be made in one (1) year increments for up to a maximum of ten (10) years. For the avoidance of doubt, renewal of registered names may not extend their registration period beyond ten (10) years from the time of the renewal.

  • Retention periods Documentation which serves as evidence of orderly and proper data processing must be retained by ATOSS in accordance with the applicable statutory retention periods beyond the end of the contract. To relieve itself of this obligation, ATOSS may turn said documentation over to the Customer at the end of the contract.

  • Trial Periods 1. A secondment agreement may only include a trial period clause if and insofar as the contract is concluded for a period of more than six months. In that case, the maximum trial period laid down by law shall apply.

  • Rest and Meal Periods (a) There shall be a 15 minute rest period in each half of any full shift. Employees working less than a full shift, but a minimum of four hours, will receive one 15 minute paid rest period.

  • Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Employees may request a particular period for vacation. Vacation days may not be taken in advance of their accrual. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.
