Call Back 10. 2.1 An employee shall be deemed to be on a call back if the employee is recalled to work overtime without receiving notice before ceasing work. 10.2.2 Payment for a call back shall commence from the time the employee departs for work and ceases when the employee arrives home immediately on completion of the work. 10.2.3 An employee who is on a call back shall be paid for a minimum of four (4) hours work at the appropriate overtime rate for each time so recalled. Provided that any subsequent call backs occurring within the four (4) hour period of the original call back shall not attract any additional payment if work is completed within the four hour period. 10.2.4 The minimum payment of four (4) hours shall not apply in cases where the call back is within four (4) hours of the employee’s usual start time. 10.2.5 Where the employee is called back within four (4) hours of the employee’s usual start time penalty rates shall only apply up to the usual starting time, after which ordinary rates of pay will apply. 10.2.6 Where an employee is called back on a public holiday the employee shall be granted time in lieu equivalent to the hours worked up to a maximum number of hours that would have normally been paid to the employee for that public holiday. 10.2.7 When an employee, after having worked overtime, finishes work at a time when reasonable means of transport are not available, Council shall provide the employee with a conveyance to the employee’s home.

  • Call Back 34.1 An employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the employer’s business premises (whether notified before or after leaving the premises) will be paid for a minimum of three (3) hours work at the appropriate rates for each time the employee is so recalled. Except in the case of unforeseen circumstances arising the employee will not be required to work the full three (3) hours if the job or jobs the employee was recalled to perform be completed within a shorter period.

  • Call Back Number A telephone number that can be used by the PSAP to re-contact the location from which a 911/E-911 Call was placed. The telephone number may or may not be the telephone number of the station used to originate the 911/E-911 Call.

  • Call Backs 9.1 Call-back occurs when the employee:

  • Call Back Pay 1. When an employee returns to work because of an agency/department request made after the employee has completed his or her normal work shift and left the work station, the employee shall be credited with four (4) hours work plus any hours of work in excess of four (4) hours in which the employee is continuously engaged in work for which he or she was called back.

  • Call Back Time Any employee called back to work after completion of his/her regular assignment shall be compensated for at least two (2) hours of work at the overtime rate, irrespective of the actual time worked.

  • Call Back From Vacation (a) Employees who have commenced their annual vacation shall not be called back to work, except in cases of extreme emergency.

  • Minimum Call-Back Time All employees who are called out and required to work in an emergency outside their regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at overtime rates and shall be paid from the time they leave home to report for duty until the time they arrive back upon proceeding directly from work.

  • Call Back Compensation (a) Call back is an occasion where an employee has been released from duty and is called back to work prior to his/her normal starting time. On such occasions, the employee’s scheduled or recognized shift shall be made available for work, except that the Agency shall not be obligated to work the employee more than twelve (12) consecutive hours and the employee may choose not to work more than twelve (12) consecutive hours, excluding meal periods, of combined call back time and regular shift time.

  • CONTRACT AMOUNT Compensation amount(s), when stated in this Bid Specifications, shall not be construed as either the maximum or minimum amount which Department shall be obligated to accept as the result of this Bid Specifications or any Agreement entered into as a result of this Bid Specifications.
