Candidate Selection Process a. The interview panelists will recommend their most qualified candidate(s) to the hiring Department Manager. The hiring Department Manager will make the final determination of which candidate will be offered the position after confirming with the Human Resources Manager. The Department Manager will take into consideration all of the information gathered during the interview panel, written test results if any, and the entirety of the application of each individual including the candidate’s length of service with the District; however, no one factor will be relied upon exclusively . The decision to select an internal applicant for promotion or transfer is the District’s prerogative, and is not grievable. b. Once an applicant has been selected, the hiring Department Manager will inform any internal applicants not selected. The Human Resources Department will notify all other applicants. c. If an internal applicant who is not selected disputes the hiring Department Manager’s decision, the applicant may submit the dispute in writing to the Human Resources Manager within 15 days of the hiring Department Manager’s decision. An internal applicant selected for a position for promotion or transfer who has at least five (5) years of service with the District and whose performance in the new position shows an inability to fulfill the duties of the position, shall within ninety (90) days of their promotion or transfer be entitled to return to their former position and pay. During that 90 days their former position may be filled by a temporary worker or other resource as determined by the Department manager. The Department manager, may at their sole discretion decide to extend the probationary period, but no more than a total of six (6) months. In such a case, the decision to extend the probationary period shall be communicated in writing to the employee.

Students’ selection involves a rigorous evaluation of knowledge, skills, and motivational aspects. Test should be done in presence or online (by Skype or similar). It is suggested to be provided documentation of advanced English language skills, minimum level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, documented by either: ● TOEFL-Test (Test of English as a Foreign Language), minimum 90 points (internet based); ● Cambridge First Certificate in English, minimum grade C; ● IELTS (International English Language Testing System), minimum result: band scale 6; ● Successful completion of a courses held in English in a previous study programme; ● Certificate from any language school with corresponding level of English (B2 and higher). However, the certificate of English language skills is optional. For the final interview (Qualification Exam), students have to present a proposal (research project) on the chosen research area, planned research activities and outcomes that are foreseen to be implemented during their Ph.D course. Therefore, the Committee interviews the candidates and carries out the exam to assess previous knowledge and skills related to the discipline, qualification of the candidate, reasons to follow the doctoral program, research and scientific interests of the candidate and his ability to carry out research activities, and the student’s proposal.   • Site Selection 5.1.1 If the parties have not designated the street address of the Franchised Location on Exhibit A on the Effective Date, Franchisee shall identify, submit and obtain Franchisor’s prior written approval of the Franchised Location meeting the requirements of this Agreement prior to entering a lease or sublease for the Franchised Location. Franchisee shall provide Franchisor all information required by Franchisor, as determined by Franchisor in Franchisor’s sole determination, necessary for Franchisor to evaluate the Franchised Location. Franchisor shall have ten (10) business days to review Franchisee’s written site proposal for the Franchised Location and notify Franchisee of its approval or disapproval in writing. Franchisor’s failure to respond within ten (10) business days shall signify Franchisor’s disapproval of the site. Franchisor shall not unreasonably withhold Franchisor’s approval of a proposed site for the Franchised Location. 5.1.2 Franchisee must have a site for the Franchised Location approved by Franchisor, receive the opening notice from Franchisor described in Section 5.4 below, and open Franchisee’s Franchised Business for business within six (6) months from the Effective Date, except as otherwise provided in Section 5.1.3 All matters related in any way to Franchisee’s site are Franchisee’s sole responsibility, regardless of any assistance Franchisor may choose to provide. Franchisee is responsible for obtaining any architectural and engineering services required for Franchisee’s facility and for ensuring its compliance with local law. Neither Franchisor, nor any other person or company associated with Franchisor shall have any liability for any site‐related matter. Xxxxxxxxxx agrees not to make any claims against Franchisor and/or any of Franchisor’s affiliates or associates with regard to such matters. 5.1.4 If Franchisor makes a loan to Franchisee for (i) Franchisee’s purchase of the franchise for the Franchised Business; (ii) the remodeling of the Franchised Location; (iii) the transfer of any interest in this franchise or this Agreement; or (iv) any other purpose; Franchisee shall open (or re‐open, as the case may be), the Franchised Business for business within sixty (60) days from the loan origination date.

  • Evaluation Process ‌ A. The immediate supervisor will meet with an employee at the start of their review period to discuss performance expectations. The employee will receive copies of their performance expectations as well as notification of any modifications made during the review period. A copy of the performance evaluation will be provided to the employee at the time of the review. A copy of the final performance evaluation, including any employee or reviewer comments, will be provided to the employee. The original performance evaluation forms, including the employee’s comments, will be maintained in the employee’s personnel file. D. If an employee disagrees with their performance evaluation, the employee has the right to attach a rebuttal. E. The performance evaluation process is subject to the grievance procedure in Article 30. The specific content of a performance evaluation is not subject to the grievance procedure. F. Performance evaluations will not be used to initiate personnel actions such as transfer, promotion, or discipline.

  • Commercialization Reports Throughout the term of this Agreement and during the Sell-Off Period, and within thirty (30) days of December 31st of each year, Company will deliver to University written reports of Company’s and Sublicensees’ efforts and plans to develop and commercialize the innovations covered by the Licensed Rights and to make and sell Licensed Products. Company will have no obligation to prepare commercialization reports in years where (a) Company delivers to University a written Sales Report with active sales, and (b) Company has fulfilled all Performance Milestones. In relation to each of the Performance Milestones each commercialization report will include sufficient information to demonstrate achievement of those Performance Milestones and will set out timeframes and plans for achieving those Performance Milestones which have not yet been met.

  • Application Process The employees wishing to enter into a job share arrangement will apply in writing to the Employer and forward a copy to the Union outlining the proposed commencement date of the job share, how the hours and days of work will be shared and how communication and continuity of work will be maintained. The Employer shall communicate a decision on a job share request in writing to the applicants. Applications to Job Sharing shall not be unreasonably denied.
