Civil Emergencies. If in the sole discretion of the President and Board of Trustees or the Village Manager, it is determined that extreme civil emergency conditions exist, including, but not limited to, riots, civil disorders, tornado conditions, floods, or other similar catastrophes, the provisions of this Agreement may be suspended by the President of the Board of Trustees or the Village Manager during the time of the declared emergency, provided that wage rates and monetary fringe benefits shall not be suspended; and that provisions of this section shall not limit an employee’s right to invoke the grievance procedure or protections under the Xxxx of Rights.

Civil Emergencies. If the Fire Chief determines that civil emergency conditions exist, including, but not limited to riots, civil disorders, hurricane conditions, epidemics or other similar catastrophes, the provisions of this agreement may be suspended by the district during the time of the declared emergency, with the exception of monetary provisions.

In the event of a declared civil emergency, such as riots, civil disorders, hurricane 4 conditions, or similar catastrophes, the provisions of this Agreement may be suspended by the 5 City Manager or his designee during the time of the declared emergency, provided that the Union 6 is notified as soon as is practical, and further provided that wage rates and monetary fringe 7 benefits shall not be suspended.
Civil Emergencies. Permanent employees under this Agreement who belong to a recognised volunteer emergency service shall be supported as follows: • Where called upon to attend an emergency while at work, permission should be gained from the employee's supervisor prior to leaving. The time lost shall be paid as Special Leave - Emergency Services. • When attendance is required at a seminar or training sessions, approval shall be granted on the basis that half the time shall be paid by the Company, the other half is to be taken as Annual Leave by the employee. Military Leave Permanent employees under this Award who are members of the Army Reserve shall be granted military leave of two weeks once each year. Such leave shall be granted in accordance with required time for continuous service training with their unit. Where payment for such leave is less than what the employee would have received as ordinary time earnings for the same period, then, upon production of satisfactory proof, the Company will pay the difference.
Civil Emergencies. 47.1 The Organisation shall permit the Council to use any of the Premises at any time in the event of a declaration of a civil emergency by the Council and the Organisation shall give all necessary assistance including the provision of staff to the Council in arranging emergency use.

Typically, civil emergency conditions include, but are not limited to: riots, civil disorders, tornado conditions, floods, or other similar catastophes. Upon oral notice to a Union representative at a practical time, the provisions of this Agreement may be suspended by the Employer during the time of the emergency, provided wage rates and all economic beneifts shall not be suspended. It is mutually understood and agreed that, under this Agreement, Village employees that are not members of the bargaining unit shall be allowed to perform bargaining unit work in cases where a civil emergency exists.
