CONSTRUCTION SIGNAGE. ❑ Advertising Signage: The use of Contractor/subcontractor advertising signage is strictly prohibited. ❑ No ground-mounted signage is allowed on the project site without the expressed written consent of the City. ❑ Signage is authorized on construction trailers and corporate-owned equipment and vehicles. Such signage cannot exceed 6’ by 4’ (24 square feet) in size. Trailers in violation shall be removed from the site by the Contractor and the Contractor shall have the site storage privileges revoked ❑ Signage to be fabricated from new materials and constructed from materials able to withstand construction use/abuse and exposure based upon its proposed installation location for its intended use. ❑ Project Specific Signage: • ALL signage shall be as approved by the City and the authority having jurisdiction. • All employee personnel informational signage shall be bilingual (English and Spanish) as requested by the City. • All project specific signage shall include the City logo and project name incorporated into the design of each sign for the project. TEMPORARY FACILITIES ❑ Erect and maintain, for duration of operations and in locations as approved, suitable temporary office facilities as required for Contractor's administration of the Work. Provide necessary sheds and facilities for the storage of tools, materials, and equipment employed in the performance of the Work. Temporary buildings shall be watertight with raised solid floors, solid sheathed and composition roofs, and adequately glazed and screened windows for light and ventilation. Temporary buildings shall be painted colors as approved. Contractor shall furnish daily janitorial service in the trailer. Provide stairs and handicapped ramp per code. RUBBER TIRED EQUIPMENT ❑ Where carts, hand trucks, wheelbarrows, and similar wheeled conveyances are used in interior spaces or on finished surfaces (including synthetic turf fields) on or in any portions of any structure, equipment shall be equipped with pneumatic tires or other tire approved by the City. REMOVAL OF TEMPORARY FACILITIES ❑ Temporary facilities, barricades, utilities and other construction of temporary nature shall be removed from the Project site as soon as the progress of the work will permit in the opinion of the City; and the portions of the Project site and building occupied by same shall be reconditioned and restored to original condition. ❑ Legally dispose of all debris resulting from removal and reconditioning operations.
CONSTRUCTION SIGNAGE. The Contractor shall be required to provided two signs and the City will provide the layout and wording at the pre-construction conference. The Contractor shall furnish the two City signs at the Project(s) Site(s) as follows: The first sign must be manufactured by Image 2000, 00 Xxxx 0xx Xxxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx (000) 000-0000 or approved equal. The sign shall be 4 feet wide and 8 feet high and constructed of pressure sensitive 2 mil cast vinyl overmounted with 3 mil mylar and mounted to 1 MDO with painted back. The sign shall be mounted on 4 inch square wood or perforated “U” channel metal posts painted white, and be readable at eye level. The colors to be used on the sign are as follows: the background shall be white with blue lettering; the seal shall be white and gold with blue lettering form. • The second sign shall reflect other funding sources for the Project and shall reflect the Project information. The sign shall be 4 feet wide by 8 feet high by ¾ inch (thick) exterior plywood, suitably mounted and readable at eye level. The colors shall be blue and white. The background shall be white and all lettering shall be blue Helvetica. All paint shall be rated outdoor enamel. The City will provide the City Seal in decal form. • The Contractor shall also post appropriate construction site warning signs at the Work Site. Such signs shall be posted to warn pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Signage shall also be placed waterside to alert boater to the construction zone, requiring idle speed and a minimum clearance distance. Contractor shall provide drawings for the signage, which shall be subject to approval by the Consultant. • The Project Manager and the City shall approve the locations for all signage.
CONSTRUCTION SIGNAGE. 7.1 The Contractor shall complete the information on the boards similar to that as displayed in Annexure C (the “Contractor’s boards”) attached hereto, for the building site and builders yard respectively. These boards which shall involve the printing of a transparent sticker as illustrated in Annexure C shall be 800mm by 1200mm in size mounted and erected on metal poles at the building site and building yard the date of the site and building yard handover meeting.
7.2 The board to be erected on the construction site shall contain only the following information, namely:
7.2.1 The Owner’s name.
7.2.2 The Stand number.
7.2.3 The Architect’s name and contact telephone number.
7.2.4 The Contractor’s name and contact telephone number.
7.2.5 The name and contact telephone number of the responsible person to contact in the case of an emergency.
7.2.6 In the case of the construction requiring the services of an Engineer, the Engineer’s name and contact details shall be included.
7.2.7 The Contractor shall ensure that the board will remain firmly planted in soil so as to support the board against strong winds and so that the board shall remain upright. The board must be visible for the full duration of the building period.
7.2.8 The board must be positioned parallel with the road and hard up against the shade cloth fence, as near to the entrance to the site as possible without obscuring any road signage and traffic.
7.2.9 The sign board must be removed within one month after occupation by the owner or on practical completion.
7.3 The Contractor shall ensure that no other signage of any building Contractor, sub-contractor, and service provider, financing company, real estate agent or other party shall be erected anywhere on the site.
CONSTRUCTION SIGNAGE. 7.1 The Building Contractor will erect a Professional Notice Board (Contractors Board) on the site in the position agreed on prior to the site hand over.
7.2 This Notice Board must be erected within 7 working days prior to the site handover meeting.
7.3 This notice board will be in the form and design approved by BCMA as described below.
7.4 The notice board will strictly accommodate the Development Proposal; Street Address; Lot Number; Owner’s Name; Architects Name and Contact Number; Engineer’s name and Contact Number; Principal Building Contractor’s Name and Contact Number; Landscape Contractor’s Name and Contact Number; and any other Professional’s Name approved by BCMA, and the name and 24 hour contact number of the responsible person to contact in case of any emergency.
7.5 No other signage of any Building Contractor; Sub-Contractor; Service Provider;
CONSTRUCTION SIGNAGE. 1 No signs or advertising shall be allowed or displayed without the approval of the Contract Administrator and City of Winnipeg. .2 This project will not be used to advertise or promote systems, construction or assembly methods, tools or equipment used and/or incorporated therein without written approval of the Contract Administrator and City of Winnipeg.
CONSTRUCTION SIGNAGE. To the extent permitted by law, during construction, Lender may place a sign on the Mortgaged Property specifying that it is participating in the financing of the Project. Further, Lender may publicize the financing and may include a general description of the Project in publicity releases.

During the Construction Period, if any, the Agency shall have the right to erect on the Facility site, subject to the reasonable approval of the location by the Company, at the Agency’s own cost and expense, an appropriate sign stating that financial assistance for the Facility has been provided through the Agency.
