Continuing Education Stipend. A stipend of $100 per day for attending educational workshops outside of the scheduled school day shall be paid to any certified personnel of Henryetta Public Schools. This does not include sports related workshops or conferences. This stipend will not be paid if a teacher is paid for attending a conference or workshop from any other source. In addition, ONLY those workshops or conferences which are pre-approved by the superintendent will qualify for the $100 stipend.

Continuing Education Stipend. Staff members who complete six semester hours or ten continuing education units (CEU's) will be eligible for the educational stipend if they have received prior approval for the hours from their immediate supervisor. The education stipend will be $400.00 per year for three years. There will be six total payments which will be made in January and September for the three years of the eligibility period. The payments will be $200.00 per semester for each of the six (6) semesters. The payment will be added to the staff member's regular paycheck. The stipend will only be added at the beginning of a contract year or at the regularly scheduled January Board Meeting. When the three‑year period has ended, the staff member immediately becomes eligible for an additional three years if they have completed the educational requirements (with prior approval) of six semester hours or ten CEU's within the previous three years. A staff member may only be eligible for one continuing education stipend at a time.

Continuing Education Stipend. 11.1.2.1 Effective July 1, 2003, each unit member on the Service Level Schedule referred to in Section 11.1.1 will be eligible to qualify for a stipend based upon the number of hours of certain course work or in service activities successfully completed by the member. Courses or inservice activities which qualify for credit under this Section will be determined by the superintendent upon the recommendation of a Continuing Education Committee (CEC) to be established by the parties to this Agreement. The CEC will be comprised of one secondary and one elementary unit member appointed by the SCTA and two persons appointed by the Superintendent. The CEC will identify one of its members as its chair, which position will be filled in that fashion annually on a rotating basis. CEC members may be replaced by the party appointing them, or may resign, at any time. The CEC will accept and evaluate applications for stipend credit from members of the negotiating unit, and develop recommendations for programs and/or coordinate course and in service program offerings, subject to the Superintendent’s approval. 11.1.2.2 All courses, in service and other offerings recommended by the CEC for the Superintendent’s approval, must be related to a unit member’s assignment, pedagogical technique or course work offered to the District’s students, and otherwise pertinent to the professional development of the unit member. It will be the responsibility of each participating unit member to identify, select, and successfully complete the CEC offerings necessary to qualify for one of the following stipends per annum: (a) For fifteen (15) clock hours completed within a fiscal year--$600. (b) For twenty-five (25) clock hours completed within a fiscal year-- $1,000. (c) For thirty-five (35) clock hours completed within a fiscal year-- $1,600. (d) For each three (3) hours post-graduate college course equivalent to thirty-five (35) or more clock hours taken following permanent/professional certification of the unit member--$1,600. 11.1.2.3 Offerings taken or completed within a school day will not qualify for stipend credit. All costs and fees for CEC offerings will be paid by the unit members taking same. Continuing Education Stipend. 5-10-1 When a Non-Licensed Professional/Technical Employee, whose official job description expresses preference for or the requirement of a Bachelor’s Degree, completes a Master’s Degree from an accredited University or College of Higher Education, the Employee may apply for a Continuing Education Stipend. 5-10-2 An eligible Non-licensed Professional/Technical Employee who has earned a Master’s Degree must complete and submit to the Department of Human Resources a Continuing Education Stipend Application prior to the last working day of the month. It is the responsibility of the Employee to submit with the application an original official transcript showing the date the Master’s Degree was earned. Photocopies of transcripts are not accepted.
Continuing Education Stipend. Effective on the first day of the 2012-2013 school year, establish the stipend position of Continuing Education Supervisor at a stipend rate of $20,000.00. The Continuing Education Supervisor position requires a Master’s Degree.

The course(s) must be completed successfully with a grade of A or B, with proof by way of an official transcript being sent to the district office. 4. Reimbursement shall be granted for extra college credit beyond the Bachelor's degree when the extra college credit is earned after the teacher has his/her teaching certificate. Credit hours must be graduate courses in a degree seeking educational related field/program and/or education administration. Preference will be given to courses in Master’s Degree programs in the above area, regardless if the teacher is seeking the degree.
