COURSE PROGRESSION AND ATTENDANCE. Attendance performance and remediation performance factor into the course grade to develop appropriate work ethics. As is expected in the workplace, when it is necessary to be absent due to illness or emergency situations, all students are to notify the instructor at least 1 hour before class begins if absent or tardy. Students are required to call the “extern coordinator and the assigned site” before the assigned arrival time if absent or tardy. Not following protocol is a “No Call / No Show” and is cause for disciplinary action after the first offense. Students are required to submit timesheets for externship experience weekly, failure to timely submit can result in loss of financial aid. FCTC students are expected to attend all class sessions. As is expected in the workplace, when it is necessary to be absent due to illness or emergency situations, all students are to notify the instructor on or before the date of the absence. Students with excessive absences will be subject to penalties such as loss of financial aid, lower grades, withdrawal from the program, and prohibition from re-enrollment in the next grading period. The minimum of hours must be attended for program completion. Attendance is linked to employability skills and absenteeism will impact grades. Attendance is linked to employability skills and absenteeism will impact overall grade. Attendance is vitally important in the medical assisting program. Absences and tardiness are monitored for several reasons. I understand and agree that any breach in my employability skills will cause a reduction in my overall grade for each course. Any breach in employability skills will result in a 5-point deduction per breach this will affect the Affect/Employability Skills grade percentage which will affect the overall course grade. (Breach - i.e. Tardy, absent, uniform, shoes, no ID etc.) This is a job-training program and employability skills are emphasized. Local employers in health care look for future employees who are serious about their career and have good employability qualities.

COURSE PROGRESSION AND ATTENDANCE. Regular attendance is a requirement for all students. International students must attend a minimum of 80% of classes for the duration of their course. If students fail to meet this requirement their enrolment with AHSI will be cancelled and the student will be reported to DHA and their visa may be cancelled. If students do not achieve satisfactory course progress (more than 50%) they will have to attend counselling with Student Support. If the student fails to meet the progress subsequently, they will be reported to DHA and their visa may be cancelled.

  • Independent Contractor; No Partnership; No Agency; No Utility Services 15.1 Company and Developer shall be independent contractors.   • Course Reimbursement 15.9.1 Prior approval by the Department of Accountability & Staff and School Renewal is required.

  • Streamcourse Protection “Streamcourses” that are subject to provisions of this Section are shown on Sale Area Map. Unless otherwise agreed, the following measures shall be observed to protect Streamcourses:

  • Management Grievance The Employer may initiate a grievance at Step 3 of the grievance procedure by the Employer or designate presenting the grievance to the President of the Union or designate. Time limits and process are identical to a union grievance.

  • Project Organization Chart As part of the Mini-Bid, the Authorized User may require the Contractor to develop and submit a proposed project organization chart. The project organization chart should identify all the proposed key personnel of each team component and how the team will be managed. If required, the project organization chart must include both Contractor and State staff roles as identified in the Mini-Bid.
