CREW REQUIREMENTS. 7.01 The minimum crewing requirements for each vessel shall be in accordance with the safe operation of the vessel as concluded between the Employer and the Union and the Certificate of Inspection under which the vessel is licensed to operate, and the certificates of all vessels covered by this Agreement are made a part hereof by reference.
7.02 There shall be no unilateral reduction in present crewing.
CREW REQUIREMENTS. 11 Section 17.1 The Employer and the Union agree they shall staff the vessels of the Employer, 12 while in service, with the standard complement of crew personnel in accordance with the Certificate 13 of Inspection (C.O.I.), with a minimum of one (1) licensed deck officer, two (2) deckhands, one of 14 which shall be classified as a senior deckhand.
15 Section 17.2 Except in cases of emergency and for movements within the vicinity of the tie- 16 up slips, or shipyards, when any vessel is not manned in accordance with the minimum xxxxxxx 17 schedules of unlicensed personnel in the Deck Work Unit, the wages of the position(s) shall be 18 divided equally among the employees performing the work of the unfilled position(s). If a crew 19 shortage occurs on a holiday, the holiday rate of pay shall apply.
CREW REQUIREMENTS. 19.01 Crew members of assignments shall be determined by the Employer subject to a team formed of at least one locomotive mechanic and one train conductor. The Employer shall not assign only one employee per train, nor use locomotive remote control operations equipment if it would lead to the lay-off of one or more Protected Running-Trade Employees. For the purposes of the present Article, the “Protected Running-Trade Employees” refer to the employees mentioned on the Seniority List in Appendix I. The work known as one employee per train, firstly, and the work involving remote control operations equipment, secondly, shall be offered, in priority and according to seniority, to Locomotive Engineers and, afterwards, also according to seniority, to Conductors. The Employer undertakes to set up an ad hoc parity committee to clarify the terms and conditions setting up working methods regarding one employee per train, on the first part, and the remote-control operations equipment, on the other part.
19.02 Despite the provisions of Article 11.00, the Employer reserves the right to select any employee whatsoever for the operation of a train composed of the Company's service cars.
19.03 The Employer may use a Utility to assist in one or several assignments during his tour of duty.
19.04 Employees of an assignment may be used for more than one assignment during their tour of duty such as required by the Employer and without penalty.
CREW REQUIREMENTS. Crewmembers must meet all minimum requirements listed in the table below. All crew personnel must be trained and qualified and their training records maintained in accordance with the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) Wildland Fire Qualification System Guide PMS 310-1. Each crew shall be directly supervised on site by one (1) Crew Boss (CRWB), and three (3) Incident Commander, Type 5 (ICT5). Crew leadership will be supervised by a State or federal incident representative while on an incident. Vendor shall ensure that all crew personnel supplied meet all applicable requirements while providing services under this Agreement. Crew verifications will be provided upon request. All crewmembers provided by the Vendor under this Agreement must be at least 18 years of age. Vendor shall provide properly trained Type 2IA crews, consisting of not less than 18 and no more than 20 persons. If at any time while assigned to an incident, crew strength is reduced to less than 18 crewmembers, the Incident may allow the Vendor to continue working and to bring the crew strength back to the agreed upon number within 24 hours. During a crew member(s) absence, the Vendor will only be compensated for each hour worked by each remaining crew member as listed on the CTR. If crew strength is not brought back to the agreed upon number within the time allowed, the Incident reserves the right to demobilize the crew and may take additional steps as deemed to be appropriate for the noncompliance. All crews and modules must meet the NWCG 310-1 training standards for position and annual firefighting safety refresher (RT-130) and pass the WCFT at the arduous level. CREW REQUIREMENTS. Xxxxx 6.01 The Xxxxx Captain is responsible for vessel and crew scheduling which is dependent on shipping, traffic, launch schedule and maintenance demands. The Xxxxx Captain should not depend on the dispatcher to keep him up to date on ship movements. Rather he should take the initiative to keep himself informed. The Captain is responsible for insuring that the crew is on board and the Pilot Boat ready to depart at least thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled arrival of traffic. Xxxxx 6.02 Boarding, disembarking of personnel or loading and unloading of cargo to/from a vessel not operated by the Employer, shall be crewed by at least one (1) boat operator and one other employee.
CREW REQUIREMENTS. At a minimum, all vessels will be manned at the established certificate of Inspection (COI) as defined by the United States Coast Guard (USCG). CREW REQUIREMENTS. Xxxxxxxxx agrees to supply and pay for any and all local labor, union or nonunion, that is required to unload, loadin, set up, rehearse, run, loadout and reload the Artist’s equipment and set up the stage for the concert. Additionally, Purchaser shall have present, at the time of all rehearsals and performances, a representative with decision making authority should additional arrangements be needed as a result of any situation that jeopardizes the performance.
CREW REQUIREMENTS. When a vessel is in maintenance/layup status, the Employer shall determine crew requirements and publish such requirements in a transition memo. During all times a vessel is in layup or in a shipyard, the Master shall be the first crew member working aboard ship and the last crew member removed, however the Employer may assign a Master or a Master and Mate(s) to a vessel and provide off vessel housing per Rule 11. If more than three (3) unlicensed deck crew are assigned to the vessel an additional appropriate level of Deck Officers shall be assigned to the vessel.

7.02 In the event vessels owned or chartered by the Employer are added to the existing fleet the Employer and the Union shall meet to negotiate the working schedule for each such unit. Otherwise, the employer may charter vessels during ferry repairs and maintenance or for emergency purposes.
7.03 All employees working on the vessel may be required to have a valid U.S. Coast Guard document.
7.04 Master positions shall be filled only as required by Ferry operations as such are determined by the County Engineer or Public Works Director.
