Cross Bidding. A. Vacancies in the bargaining unit not filled by unit members will be made available to employees in the AFSCME Local 2714 Dispatch Unit. B. In the event that an AFSCME Local 2714 Dispatch Unit member is selected to fill a vacancy within this bargaining unit, there will be no loss in total seniority for City-wide benefits. C. For promotional bids, pay will be at the lowest step which provides the employee at least a five percent (5%) increase in the rate of pay within the applicable classification. The employee will advance automatically through any remaining steps every twelve (12) months from the effective date of the promotion or transfer, until the top step is obtained.

Cross Bidding. For purposes of this section, the term “department” shall refer to the three (3) separate departments defined in Section 10-2.1, 10-2.2, and 10-3, and the provisions of this section shall only apply to bidding between departments as defined in such sections and not to bidding within such departments, except as otherwise specifically provided in this Agreement. 10-13.1 If a permanent vacancy is not filled in any department in accordance with the procedure set forth in this Section 10 of the Agreement, full-time active employees from departments of the Company other than the department in which the vacancy exists who submitted 10-13.2 If a permanent vacancy is not filled under Section 10-13.1 before a new employee is hired, laid off full-time employees from departments of the Company other than the department in which the vacancy exists who submitted applications pursuant to the posting required by Section 10-14 shall be considered in accordance with Section 10-13.3. 10-13.3 Applicants, in order of their Company seniority, shall be interviewed by a managerial employee of the Company for the purpose of determining the applicant’s qualifications and background to fill such vacancy. Such interview shall be similar to that for new hires for such position. In addition to such interview, such employee shall be required to satisfactorily perform any and all tests and other procedures required by the Company to be performed by an applicant who is not a current employee of the Company, and such applicant must meet any and all additional requirements for the positions such as possessing tools and appropriate licenses. If the Company determines that one of the applicants is qualified to fill such vacancy, such applicant shall be permitted to transfer from his or her department to the department in which the vacancy exists for a probationary period of sixty (60) working days during which time if the Company decides such full-time employee is not qualified to perform that position, the employee will be transferred back to the position from which he or she transferred or if the employee decides that he or she desires not to fill such vacancy, the employee will be permitted to transfer back to the position from which he or she transferred. During such probationary period, the full-time employee shall be paid at the lower of (1) the rate he or she was earning in his or her former position at the time of transfer or,
Cross Bidding. (a) Employees may bid into any classification provided they have the established qualifications for the classification they bid into. Employees will be responsible for obtaining these qualifications either through completion of elective training options and/or on their own time unless considered to already be minimally qualified based upon previous cross training status (Section 7 above). (b) Following transfer or promotion into another classification, employee’s must make reasonable progress in completing requisite training, provided they have been given the opportunity to complete such training. If the employee fails to complete or make reasonable progress, they will be subject to retrogression to their previous job classification.

  • Bidding a. The Auctioneer reserves the right to regulate the bidding and shall have the sole right to refuse any bid or bids without giving any reason for such refusal. b. In the event that the auction comprises of more than one (1) property, the Auctioneer shall have the right to :- (i) Determine the order of sale; (ii) Offer the properties for sale either individually or collectively or in any combination or manner as determined by the Auctioneer; and/or (iii) Withdraw any of the properties from sale. c. The Auctioneer reserves the right to fix the amount of bid at the time the Property is put up for sale. Subject to the reserve price, the Auctioneer shall fix the sum to commence bidding and regulate the advance of each subsequent bid. d. The bidder shall follow the bidding procedure as provided in the Auctioneer’s Online Terms and Conditions. e. Each bid will be called for 3 times, “First Calling, “Second Calling”, “Final Call”. Bidders may submit their bid at any of these stages of biddings. When system displays “No More Bids”, no further bids will be accepted by the Auctioneer. f. No bid shall be less than the last previous bid and each bid shall be increased by a minimum amount to be determined by the Auctioneer at the time the Property is put up for sale. g. The Auctioneer shall have the absolute right to withdraw the Property for sale at any time before the fall of the hammer and either after or without declaring the reserve price. h. In case of any dispute as to any bid, the Auctioneer may at his own option forthwith determine the dispute or put the Property up for sale again at the reserve price or at the last undisputed bid or withdraw the Property from the auction sale. The Auctioneer’s decision therein shall be final and conclusive. i. Subject to these Conditions of Sale and particularly to the reserve price, the highest bidder being so allowed or determined by the Auctioneer shall be the Purchaser upon the fall of hammer.

  • Shift Bidding 1. Commencing October 1 of each calendar year, shift bids will be open for the following year. The selection of work shifts will be made by the seniority bid process. Those with the highest seniority will bid first among their job classification within the Patrol Division. Seniority will be based on hire date to, or promotion date of, your job classification. Positions include Patrol Officer and Patrol Sergeant. Shifts will be bid for an entire calendar year with markup changes on January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. Each Employee will be allotted a maximum of two (2) work days after notification to complete his/her bidding. 2. Shift selection shall be assigned through the seniority bidding process for all Guild members, excluding probationary officers. The Chief of Police shall have exclusive discretion to assign probationary officers to shifts based upon a need to further training, to evaluate and to meet departmental needs. Probationary assignments shall be made without altering non-probationary officer(s) shift bids if at all possible. In the event non- probationary officer(s) bid upon shifts are changed, the shift re-bid process defined in Article 8 (D) shall apply. Upon completion of probation, an officer will then be included in the seniority bidding process based upon their original date of hire. (prior MOU draft) 3. The Chief of Police retains the exclusive right to determine the starting time of the work shifts and the number of shifts in a work day; provided that in the event that an Employee’s routine shift starting time is changed by more than two (2) hours and/or the Employee’s routine work days are changed after the bidding process, the Department must provide notice of the shift changes in accordance with Article 8 (F) and must allow for the opportunity of a shift rebid process. 4. This section shall be interpreted as a waiver of the Guild’s right to bargain changes in the starting times of work shifts in accordance with its terms, but shall not be considered a waiver of the Guild’s right to require the Employer to bargain over changes in the length of the work shifts, for example, five 8’s, four 10’s, 10:40’s, 11:25’s, 12’s, etc.

  • JOB BIDDING Section 1. All job vacancies will be posted as follows: a.) The position will be posted on Kaleidascope for seven (7) calendar days. b.) The posting shall include the position (job title), posting dates, status, hours per pay period, shift, starting and ending times, pay grade and the qualifications for the position as defined in the job description for the position. A copy of all job postings will be sent to the Union. c.) Employees may not be accepted for posted positions until they have completed six (6) months of employment. In addition, an employee who has transferred to a position must remain in that position for six (6) months before applying for another posted position. Except that an employee may apply for a posted position which is at a higher pay grade without regard to the six (6) month limit. This paragraph shall not apply to intra cost center shift change or intra cost center status changes. Section 2. Posted positions shall be filled by the most senior qualified applicant from within the bargaining unit. If the position cannot be filled from within the bargaining unit, the Employer may fill the position from any source available to the Employer, provided the candidate meets all of the qualifications for hiring into that position. In all instances, the appropriate manager is responsible for the interview and selection of applicants within fourteen (14) days of the end of the posting. Section 3. A qualified applicant shall be defined as an employee who possesses the entry level qualifications in the job description and is able to do the work when required. Ability to do the work and documented performance, inclusive of disciplinary record, may be considered when awarding a position. The Employer will notify all applicants of the result of their bid in a timely manner not to exceed two (2) weeks from the date the position is awarded. Section 4. A successful bidder shall be required to serve a sixty (60) calendar day trial period exclusive of any classroom training required. At the midpoint of the trial period the employee shall be evaluated and given written notification if a problem exists. During the trial period, the employee will be returned to his/her original position if the employee elects to be returned or the Employer finds the employee is unsatisfactory in the new position.

  • For E-bidding The auctioneer and the Bank’s solicitor shall sign all 5 copies of contract first, right after the auction. The successful E-bidder must to come to the ESZAM AUCTIONEER SDN BHD main office in Seremban to sign the Contract of Sale within two (2) working days after the auction date.

  • BIDDING PROCEDURES 4.1. Bidders have to login at EHSAN AUCTIONEERS SDN. BHD. Website using the same registered email 30 minute before Auction Time. 4.2. Bidders have to click VIEW BID SCREEN BUTTON beside the status to show the bidding screen. Once enter the bidding screen bidders will be on STANDBY MODE 30 minute before the auction started. 4.3. Bidding shall generally commence based on the sequence of the lot being shown on the EHSAN AUCTIONEERS SDN. BHD. website. However, the Auctioneer has the right to vary this sequence without notice. 4.4. It shall be the responsibility of registered E-Bidders to log in through the EHSAN AUCTIONEERS SDN. BHD. website to wait for their turn to bid for the property lot in which they intend to bid. 4.5. The Auctioneer has the right to set a new reserve price in the event there is more than 1 bidder. The reference to a "bidder” here includes E-Bidders as well as on-site bidders. 4.6. Auctioneer will announce the amount of incremental bid and the same will appear on the website prior to the commencement of the auction. 4.7. “Standby mode” is displayed, followed by a message stating “AUCTION STARTED”. Enter your BID by clicking “NEXT BID” button. 4.8. Each bid will be called for 3 times, “FIRST CALLING, “SECOND CALLING”, “FINAL CALL”. Registered E-Bidders may submit their bid at any of these stages of biddings by click the bid amount. 4.9. Any bid by the registered E-bidders shall not be withdrawn once entered. 4.10. When system displays “NO MORE BIDS”, no further bids will be accepted by the Auctioneer, whether on-site or through the EHSAN AUCTIONEERS SDN. BHD. website. 4.12. The bidder with the highest bid shall be declared as successful bidder upon the fall of hammer. 4.13. The decision of the Auctioneer shall be final and binding on all on-site and/or E-bidders. 4.14. A successful bidder will be directed to a page where further directions are given in order to conclude the sale of the auction property. Please also refer to Part 5 below. 4.15. Unsuccessful E-Bidders will have the deposit paid processed to be refunded to the same bank account from which the deposit transfer was made within three (3) working days. 4.16. The information shown and/or prompted on the screen handled by the EHSAN AUCTIONEERS SDN. BHD. website regarding the public auction, particularly to the calling of bidding price during the bidding process and the declaration of successful bidder shall be final and conclusive.

  • INTERNATIONAL BIDDING All offers (tenders), and all information and Product required by the solicitation or provided as explanation thereof, shall be submitted in English. All prices shall be expressed, and all payments shall be made, in United States Dollars ($US). Any offers (tenders) submitted which do not meet the above criteria will be rejected.

  • Auction Procedures The provisions contained in Section 11.10 of the Amended and Restated Bylaws concerning Auction Procedures will be followed by the Fund and, to the extent applicable, the Auction Agent, and the provisions contained therein are incorporated herein by reference in their entirety and shall be deemed to be a part of this Agreement to the same extent as if such provisions were set forth fully herein.

  • POST ONLINE PUBLIC AUCTION PROCEDURES 4.1. Successful E-bidders shall and undertake to sign the Memorandum of Sale at the office of the Auctioneer within 3 working days from the date of auction, failing which the deposit paid will be forfeited to the Assignee bank and the sale will be deemed cancelled/terminated and the property may be put up again for subsequent auction without further notice to the said E-Bidders. The Auctioneer shall send the Memorandum of Sale for stamping and thereafter forward the same together with the required deposit paid under Clause 2.4 above and the differential sum paid under this clause (if any) to the Assignee bank. 4.2. Any successful E-bidder who is unable to attend to sign the Memorandum of Sale at the Auctioneer's office may do so by authorising another person to sign the same of his/her behalf by inserting the particulars of the authorised person and furnishing a copy of his/her identity card and also a Letter of Authorisation for this purpose. 4.3. In the event that there is inconsistency between the personal details and the documents uploaded in the PAH Website and the actual documents produced by the successful bidder, the Auctioneer shall have the right to refuse the successful bidder from signing the Memorandum of Sale and may at its discretion cancel the sale and proceed to put up property up for a new auction and the deposit paid shall be forfeited. 4.4. The Memorandum of Sale upon being signed by the Auctioneer, Solicitor for the Assignee bank and the successful Bidder/Authorised agent shall be conclusive evidence of the sale of the property to the successful bidder.

  • Transaction Procedures All series transactions for the Designated Series shall be consummated by payment to, or delivery by, the Custodian(s) from time to time designated by the Fund (the “Custodian”), or such depositories or agents as may be designated by the Custodian in writing, of all cash and/or securities due to or from the Series. The Subadviser shall not have possession or custody of such cash and/or securities or any responsibility or liability with respect to such custody. The Subadviser shall advise the Custodian and confirm in writing to the Fund all investment orders for the Designated Series placed by it with brokers and dealers at the time and in the manner set forth in Schedule A hereto (as amended from time to time). The Fund shall issue to the Custodian such instructions as may be appropriate in connection with the settlement of any transaction initiated by the Subadviser. The Fund shall be responsible for all custodial arrangements and the payment of all custodial charges and fees, and, upon giving proper instructions to the Custodian, the Subadviser shall have no responsibility or liability with respect to custodial arrangements or the act, omissions or other conduct of the Custodian.

  • THE BIDDING 6.1 Each new bid shall not be less than the immediately preceding bid. 6.2 All increments in the bids shall be not less than the incremental amount as fixed by the Auctioneer at the Auction Sale. 6.3 The Auctioneer shall have the right to refuse any bid. 6.4 A bid once made shall not be withdrawn. 6.5 If any dispute should arise as to any bidding, the Property shall at the option of the Auctioneer be put up again for sale at the last undisputed bidding price and the Auctioneer shall at the Auction Sale decide on the dispute and such decision by Auctioneer shall be final. 6.6 Subject to the Reserve Price, the highest bidder for the Property at the Auction Sale shall be declared by the Auctioneer to be the purchaser (`the Purchaser’). 6.7 Each bid will be called for 3 times, “First Calling, “Second Calling”, “Final Call”.
