DEFINITION OF RATINGS. MEETS OR EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS = A check in this box indicates that the teacher meets or exceeds the expectations in this performance area. DOES NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS = A check in this box affects overall performance and requires a teacher improvement plan. It indicates that prompt action is needed by the teacher to correct the deficiencies as prescribed in the improvement plan. N/O = No opportunity to observe N/A = Not applicable for this teacher

DEFINITION OF RATINGS. Exceeds Standard: The “exceeds standard” rating is reserved for the employee who demonstrates truly exceptional performance. Meets Standard: The “meets standards” rating indicates that the employee independently performs assigned duties at an expected level.
DEFINITION OF RATINGS. Satisfactory: 1. After said review of the evaluation, the employee shall sign the evaluation. (Such signature does not indicate that he/she agrees with the report.) 2. The employee shall be given ten (10) days to provide a written response, which shall be attached to the evaluation prior to its placement in the personnel file, on any report containing information that can be viewed as being derogatory in nature. 3. An employee receiving an unsatisfactory rating will be given specific suggestions in a written plan for improvement in the deficient areas. 4. If an Employee receives an unsatisfactory evaluation they employee will be re-evaluated after 45 working days. 5. A repeat unsatisfactory evaluation is grounds for disciplinary action as determined in Contract Article XV.
DEFINITION OF RATINGS. 1. Component Ratings STANDARD – DTI offers internal support and/or has arranged for external vendor support as well (where applicable). DTI believes the component is robust and can be expected to enjoy a useful life of 3+ years from the Effective Date. These components can be used without explicit DTI approval for both new projects and enhancement of existing systems. DECLINING – Deprecated - DTI considers the component to be a likely candidate to have support discontinued in the near future. A deprecated element is one becoming invalid or obsolete. Via the State’s waiver process, these components should be explicitly approved by DTI for all projects. They should not be used for minor enhancement and system maintenance without explicit DTI approval via the State’s waiver process.
