DESCRIPTION AND JUSTIFICATION. The boundary of the nominated district is increased to include that historic acreage which survives from the Newington Town Forest within the Xxxxx Air Force Base and which is eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The area south of the 1987 district and to the west of Short Street purposely has been excluded from the district boundary due to the clearing of the former woodland for a runway. The remaining town forest property is bounded on the west by Nimble Hill Road/Short Street, on the north by the Air Force Base boundary which is marked by a barbed wire fence and on the remaining sides by a stone wall. Boundaries are sufficient to convey the original context and to protect it. Boundaries are indicated on the attached sketch map. The additional report should summarize that information that is not under restricted access in a format most useful to the expected groups of potential users. Peer reviews of draft reports is recommended to ensure that state-of-the-art technical reports are produced.
DESCRIPTION AND JUSTIFICATION. The Insight Maintenance Contract (attached to this BAI) is a routine annual agreement for maintenance services for TUSD's Passport Telecommunications Equipment. This equipment is vital in keeping the district's existing voice and data telecommunications network operational. The Passport equipment is quite old; this contract ensures that if the equipment fails or does not perform adequately, Insigth or its subcontractors will repair or replace the faulty equipment. TUSD has exercised this agreement via state contract each year since the original equipment purchase. The IT Infrastructure Modernization Initiative is addressing all of our telecommunications needs and will ultimately result in replacement of all Passport equipment. While the schedule for this replacement is not yet known, we do expect to be able to reduce the cost of this contract throughout the year and have arranged with the vendor to adjust pricing each quarter.
DESCRIPTION AND JUSTIFICATION. The agreement is subject to four (4) one-year renewals upon consent of both parties unless terminated earlier, the services for this program may be continued through May, 2020.
